so the demographic that has the most exposure to AI generated content, or in other words the demographic that has the most exposure to computer generated propaganda, are educated women with white collar jobs

not a coincidence
I can't find the study is from but I seriously doubt more women than men have "very high" "AI exposure". Since I couldn't find the study I couldn't find what "AI exposure" means exactly, but I assume it doesn't really mean _using_ AI at a high level. It probably just means, is AI helping you write some stupid ass office template or whatever, and a bunch of female office workers are using it regularly. Whereas men will _use_ AI at a high level: to write code, create AI agents and other more productive uses.

Bullshit. You’re saying that to steal babes

I honestly prefer men gracefully balding to this head-shaving trend. It's really okay to age. It's okay for people to see that you're aging. I'm not trying to be some body positivity whackadoo, just noting that I vastly prefer men let nature take its course (with appropriate haircuts etc.) instead of just saying "you can't fire me, I quit" to their hair. There's so much more natural variation in it. Maybe I'm just autistic and faceblind and want to be able to tell men apart from one another, so sue me.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick urged the public to "buy Tesla" stock, a highly unusual promotion by a Cabinet member of a company whose current investors have suffered a sharp slide in share price since December.

Lutnick's touting of Tesla shares Wednesday night came as CEO Elon Musk oversees the highly controversial DOGE effort to slash the federal workforce for the Trump administration.

The company is also facing a spate of vandalism of Tesla locations and vehicles around the United States in reaction to Musk's involvement with DOGE and his financial support for President Donald Trump's electoral victory.

Government conflict of interest rules prohibit federal employees from using their "government position or title or any authority associated with his public office to endorse any product, service or enterprise" save for very limited situations, none of which appeared to apply to Lutnick.

"If you want to learn something on this show tonight, buy Tesla," Lutnick said during an interview on Fox News with Jesse Watters.

"It's unbelievable," Lutnick said, drawing out the last word, "that this guy's stock is so cheap."

"It'll never be this cheap again," Lutnick continued, next to a split screen of video showing flames from Teslas in Las Vegas that were set on fire by Molotov cocktails earlier in the week.

Tesla has shed hundreds of billions of dollars in market capitalization since its stock's sharp slide began in December, a month after Trump was elected to a second non-consecutive term in the White House. The company's share price is more than 50% lower than the high reached in December.

"When people understand the things he's building, the robots he's building, the technology he's building, people are going to be dreaming of today, and Jesse Watters will [be] thinking 'gosh, I should have bought Elon Musk's stock."

Lutnick continued, "I mean, who wouldn't invest in Elon Musk? You gotta be kidding."

Before Trump picked him to head the Commerce Department, Lutnick had a long career on Wall Street, leading the financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald.

A spokesperson for Tesla did not immediately reply to a request for comment from CNBC.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, when asked about Lutnick's statements, said, "I think the Commerce secretary was reiterating that the President supports an American-made company like Tesla, who produces a very good product for the American people."

Leavitt said the company "was beloved by the American people, particularly Democrats, until Elon Musk decided to endorse and vote for Donald Trump."

"Now we have seen despicable and unacceptable violence taking place across our country at Telsa dealerships, workers, employees and also innocent Americans who drive these vehicles," she said.

Trump recently turned the White House lawn into a temporary Tesla showroom, so that Musk could display five vehicles for the press and the president, who said he planned to buy one.

Presidents and vice presidents are exempt from federal conflict of interest rules.

At the event, Trump revealed he had purchased a Tesla Cybertruck for his granddaughter, Kai Trump.

On Thursday, Tesla issued a recall of nearly all of its Cybertrucks in the United States, to repair an exterior panel at risk of detaching when the vehicle is being driven.

During Trump's first term in office, his then-White House senior advisor Kellyanne Conway was criticized for a Fox News appearance in which she urged viewers to "go buy" products made by a brand owned by Ivanka Trump, the president's daughter.

"Go buy Ivanka's stuff, is what I would tell you. I'm going to. I hate shopping and I'm going to go get some myself today," Conway told "Fox and Friends" in February 2017.

"I'm going to give it a free commercial here," Conway said.

The U.S. Office of Government Ethics later warned the White House that it had "strong reason" to believe that Conway violated ethics rules with her comments.

In response, the White House ethics office wrote that it had looked into the matter and "concluded that Ms. Conway acted inadvertently and is highly unlikely to do so again."

Chuck Schumer admits the quiet part out loud— Democrat-appointed judges are really activists who are there to stop Trump: "

We did put 235 judges, progressive judges, judges not under the control of Trump, last year on the bench, and they are ruling against Trump time after time after time."

i assume exposure in this case is seeing AI videos on social media, seeing ads for or using AI, and familiarity with the tools that are available. if they meant using AI tools then the phrasing would be different imo, but if there's no place they're defining it we just have to guess

That judge who ordered that plane full of deportee to be turned around and returned to the US is furious that Trump ignored his order.

He is now using a rare power under the War Act to threaten Trump with charges.

Judge Boasberg has order that the DoJ, ICE and the Trump WhiteHouse answer the following questions before noon Wednesday (tomorrow) or face charges he will file against them using the War Act that allows the US Justice Department to act against "agitators and enemy agents" by issuing direct court orders.

What that Judge wants answered is:

1. Who gave the order to not return the plane to the US after the court order was issued
2. Who was on the plane
3. When did the plane cross the US border exactly
4. Who gave the order to deport these individuals and when.

He's obviously super pissed Trump ignored his order to turn the plane around immediately and wait for him (the judge) to issue his TRO before taking any further actions. IE: This Judge is telling the PotUS that he the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES has to wait for this mid level DC circuit judge to give permission before deporting ANYONE FURTHER.

Holy overreach Batman! This judge is basically saying that the US Judiciary is not co-equal with the executive but superior to it. And that the PotUS has to have the judiciaries permission to act even on matters of Foreign Affairs which was the statute that Trump used to deport these gang members. Yes that right this DC judge is fighting tooth and nail while threaten to charge Trump as a "enemy agent" for deporting a bunch of drug dealing Colombian gang-bangers. Sweet Jesus could the Lefties not pick a better hill to die on? I'm totes sure the average Joe is going to be over joyed to hear some Obongo Judge ordered Trump to return and set lose a bunch of M13 gang members.

More utter insanity from the Obongo appointed judge who has gone to the extremes to stop Trump from deporting...well anyone. I guess in his eyes the Law only applies when he issues it. Fuck ICE or BP this mid level DC circuit judge is the final arbitrator of US Law.

No wonder impeachment charges have been pushed for him not that the Dems would ever let that happen but still.

WASHINGTON — A federal judge Wednesday warned of the possibility of "consequences" after the Justice Department pushed back against his request for more information about the deportation flights that took off over the weekend after President Donald Trump invoked the rarely used Alien Enemies Act.

U.S. District Judge James Boasberg had ordered the Trump administration to submit answers to his questions about the timing of the deportation flights and custody handover of deportees, giving the government until noon Wednesday to respond.

Boasberg responded a short time later and gave the government an extra 24 hours to respond — but he also expressed frustration.

"To begin, the Court seeks this information, not as a 'micromanaged and unnecessary judicial fishing expedition,' but to determine if the Government deliberately flouted its Orders issued on March 15, 2025, and, if so, what the consequences should be," he wrote.

Here's my local Jew Tuber Law Faggot to break down the court doc

Does he really expect Pam Bondi to just throw up her hands and let this shithead arrest trump? Cause how is he gonna force the Justice Department to arrest Trump? Is Trump gonna just let shit boil over so he can use Congress to just remove all these activist judges and put others in?

Yes it does, because the shareholders, officers, and employees of a private company are civilians, and destruction of property is violence for the purpose of intimidating or coercing them into doing what you want.
Yeah that is a fair argument.
I guess since Luigi and various other things (general sentiment against megacorps) I am wondering if the US government will end up creating special legal protections/designations for "corporations" or they end up having their own little private armies. They did deputize Elon's security detail but that's not quite the same.

It has basically happened in every sci-fi dystopia movie I can think of - companies become bigger and more powerful than the government and I guess part of getting there is giving them carte blanche to protect themselves.
These were "leaked" 4 years ago: https://x.com/MaryPodlesak/status/1267229378695639041
They look like the most dubious shit ever with how crumpled they are and a conveniently placed yellow post-it note mentioning dollar amounts lol.

Those stupid AI-generated "answers" that can now appear on just about any Google search now -- that the stupid-looking "not found" ice fishing yeti don't show up on -- have most likely been designed to parrot a "woke" worldview. And of course that newfangled "ChatGPT" thing has been lobotomized by the SJW developers in favor of The Narrative™.
