Official Tor Hidden Service for the Kiwi Farms

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Kiwiflare is much faster than haproxy-protection. Also seems to have less weird errors. Awesome.

this is a thread for tech issues.

i'm aware of what lokinet is and i know the developer; the project is dead. @CrunkLord420 said yggdrasil is basically dead iirc. i'm aware of opennic but that requires custom dns. i have unstoppable domains for kf but they only work for static content.

people know how to use tor. it's just a browser. anyone can figure it out.
I don't even know what yggdrasil is.

I realize this might be asking for too much, but would it be possible to fix reactions and chat in Firefox Mobile and Tor for Android?

As of this post, it is very difficult to give reactions to posts because the little window to select a reaction fades immediately and as a result, you are forced to just "like" a post (which can also trigger some sort of anti-bot measure that locks you out from giving reactions if you press it again). Some users have found a way around this by right-clicking the reaction link, opening in a new window, and editing the number at the end of the URL to choose a specific reaction (for instance, Feels is #7). As previously stated, if it is possible to fix this on Tor for Android I would greatly appreciate it.

In addition to the previous issue, when using chat on both Firefox Mobile and Tor for Android, a spontaneous <br> HTML tag appears when submitting a message in live chat. I don't know what causes this so I cannot replicate the phenomenon persistantly, but it happens often enough to witness it. All I know is that it occurs only on Firefox Mobile and Tor for Android. Unfortunately, I do not have Apple devices to test if this occurs for iOS.

Thank you for reading.

that's a known glitch in the tor android app, as they use a very dated version of firefox. Repeated requests for the tor developers to get their shit together has been met with hostility and rejection.

This is probably because of fingerprinting protection being done poorly by firefox pretty often.
I disabled the privacy.resistFingerprinting config and replaced it with the canvasblocker addon and that solved the issue.

I was just now able to repeatably demonstrate it's the cause by toggling it back on. The effect is instant.

spontaneous <br> HTML tag appears when submitting a message in live chat.
Sadly unavoidable it seems, specifically because of how difficult it is to pin down a fix due to how unreliably it happens.
I think that adding a trailing space reduced the frequency but I can't be sure. Sadly you will likely have to contend with just editing it out posthumously, or cope and seethe at being revealed as being the phonefag in chat, as I prefer.

For any TOR users, OnionGPT is in alpha testing, it’s live at:

Even though this service gives you the anonymity of the tor network, somehow I do not trust the website owner to not log the inputs and outputs and not use them for some malicious purpose if possible.

I'm sorry for shutting down OnionGPT and deleting my posts. I have brought OnionGPT back online in the original configuration. You must understand that when dealing with a person with severe mental illness they can be unpredictable and make bad choices. I am severely mentally ill, I am unpredictable, and I make bad choices. Thanks to everybody who said OnionGPT was a good idea. To stop myself from ruining my life and being hyperfixated on OnionGPT I will probably not actively work on it and monitor it anymore. Have fun!

Just an FYI: Tor nodes exist in the United Kingdom. If you try to use Tor browser to sign up you may receive the legal disclaimer page. This makes it impossible to verify a new account despite using the advice on the legal disclaimer page to use Tor browser. I had to use a totally different kind of privacy browser to sign up.

Onion good

One feature request for Da New Software: a link / copy URL button along with [media] tags.
This so if YT decides to ask to do another welfare check ("no") I don't have to reload the page with a new Tor circuit or Inspect element to open the URL... about 5-10% of my page loads are refreshes so I can clickie on the tubie vidie.
(Their "lets see those cavities" prompt removes all links to the video.)
Similar issue for all Farmers and deleted videos - the YT embed doesn't offer a link for them, this makes looking them up in archive harder.

godsdamn onion got peeled and the cert is daid

accessing via .st over tor feels dirty!

fucking american popes fucking everything up
Just click "accept the risk and continue" (though you also need to do it on uploads and no-cookie subdomains to fix images and post form), HTTPS is redundant in Tor anyway and is only there cause Josh didn't want to bother fixing xenforo defaulting to it.
