Godwinson usually should be taken almost entirely as a fabulist, but I can say there is some truth to what he is saying here, and it's what I was referring to when I said there was nuggets in the DM's regarding the Casino's tax info that might grow to be something larger. I won't speak to Canadian taxes but something like this would be pretty sketchy for American. PPP says later to Phil that the tax structure disincentives self employment and he is absolutely right about that. That being said the big secret of the IRS is that they audit almost nobody, and those that do are peak retard about it in large quantities. If the stats were more widely publicized I think there would be a legit tax revolt that would work.
Anyway don't expect some kind of IRS (or the canadian equivalent) arc, but I still think this could go somewhere, especially if there are shenanigans about how much warski sends as PPP's "cut". If you really want to fuck with KC calculate as best as possible exactly how much they make (Ashton also reveals here that at a certain level kick pays hourly, which explains the long streams) and calculate what Ashtons cut SHOULD be. That way when he does his daily read of the thread he can compare the calculation versus reality. There are a lot of autistic people in this thread with little better to do.
It feels like coping to spin this as anything but a PPP win and Phil loss.
@Yes I'm New I certainly agree, its overall a phil loss on balance, especially right now. But having read the DM's I'll qualify that with;
1)Its less one sided than PPP presented, despite still being overall a phil loss, PPP doesn't look great either, and most importantly to his narrative, doesn't look like 10000 IQ 4d chess plan. The flip to Snaking being the primary objective was relatively recent. PPP Has a tendency to portray everything after the fact as part of his plan, just look at the whole Jesse pickle suit arc. He gets away with it because he is a genuinely good fabulist, and the other side usually is retarded as in this case
2) there are details and insinuations in here that might fuel future arcs that end up doing as much damage to KC in the future. Sort of vindicates the existence of the Phil curse.
I think the opinion on this event will slowly but surely morph into something more approaching a "kamikaze felt" by the KC and less as a totally one sided flawless victory as time goes on and things develop.
