I see a lot, I mean A LOT of channels in the single digit viewers for popular things like Dead By Daylight. If they don't care about the money, fine, because they definitely aren't getting any. In general 90% of the viewers end up watching the top 10% of streamers, because most people equate other viewers as a mark of quality. It *is* possible for any untrained talent to rise, but there has to be a likeable(or in Hasan's case hateable) personality and talent to actually pick up and grow an audience.

The way you crack into streaming these days is to be a youtuber first and then branch into streaming. YouTube creators get a bit more exposure and growth than streamers, on average, especially if they make good content. Youtube also doesn't have an unofficial policy of pushing titty streamers and low effort crap. 15-30% of a youtubers audience can be converted into a stream audience. That's what I see a lot of people do, mutahar, harmful opinions, the trash taste people, supereyepatchwolf and countless more.
People who go into streaming first and purely for streaming need favours and bumps to get up there, for sure (unless it's a vtuber I think)

Its 90% watch the top .01% of streamers. You would have better odds hitting the lottery than hitting it big streaming and an extreme longshot simply getting a minimum wage salary nowadays through streaming.

I'd say the even bigger issue isn't just the "hard to crack it into the top levels" shit, because that is kinda true of almost anything (imagine how many people will start a business and become Fortune500, instead of a small guy employing maybe 2-3 people to run a store or something. And that's assuming they don't fail).
The bigger issue, especially with regards to Hassan, is the absolute double standards. I think someone on social media said it better than me that the world is being forced to listen to antics of theater kids brownnose and lecture the rest of us on how society should operate. Meanwhile, the jocks are the ones that write and actually act out what is more viable to the world in the long term.
