There are cases of this happening in order to have kids and an outwardly "normal" lifestyle. But gays would just go for a dead bedroom once children are achieved if even go that far. At least in this day and age. And even then that's mostly in very, very religious communities/sects. Think whacko Mormons. It's bisexual men that are the concern here because they will continue to want to have sex with their GF/wife and be more likely to pass something to her that way, in addition to the emotional pain of them being cheaters.

It's kinda normal now for people to be perpetually single if they want (or can't get together) or not want to get married so there really isn't the same pressure there used to be to settle down and have a "cover".
