Not Just Bikes / r/fuckcars / Urbanists / New Urbanism / Car-Free / Anti-Car - People and grifters who hate personal transport, freedom, cars, roads, suburbs, and are obsessed with city planning and urban design

Funny that they admit other people are annoying when talking about suburbs but not when talking about urban areas.

Still he's fairly correct but backwards. The reason suburbia exists is because it's takes some of the better parts of urban and country living and makes a reasonable compromise that is affordable for a large segment of population. You are fairly close to services, very close when you have a car, because there is enough population density. Otherhand the population density is small enough that you have extra space, including your own outdoor space, like in country side. It's not perfect but nicer and more practical to most people than the other options.

Why do twitter urbanist act as if living in suburbia is literal hell on earth. I like living in a house with garden, I know my neighbors well (enough to give each other keys to our own homes when one of us is absent), I enjoy driving to the store and driving for some weekend event is not difficult too. It's practical and super easy to do things you want to do (hobbies, whatever)
Add remote job to the mix and you're living like a king

Because mom and dad live there and they are lame. Everything about this place is lame. Think how cool I would have been if I lived in a cool place like a big city with bars and nightclubs and discos... Stuff like that. Yeah that's why cooler than this awful boring lame suburb. That's what's holding me back and none of my shortcomings.

Bro my life would be just like Cyberpunk except I'd be cool and not a poor drug addict addicted to virtual porn.

Many reasons. It's a mentality of "Fuck you, mom and dad! You can't tell me what to do" so they want to be the opposite. I always found the claim of a large city being more "community based" of theirs to be bullshit. They don't know what an actual community is and even if they did, they would refuse to join it under some bullshit excuse. Suburbs and rural towns have a community and that frightens their antisocial tendencies. In cities with degenerate reputations, they feel free to act out on their antisocial behaviors. When they can't do that in a suburb, or a police officer would fine or arrest them.

By the way, a lot of cars have power outlets for the rear seat passengers and many of them also have screens as well.

This is the Honda Odyssey, hardly a luxury car:

He's a retard but the "what about the Civil Rights Act wasn't there" was still funny. The problem is that Houston (yeah, Houston again) had a housing surplus at one time (stuff that wasn't able to be rented). Know what got hit the hardest? Apartments. They didn't get the brand-new stuff or the stuff in urban areas, just the stuff that was considered "suburban" 10-15 years prior. Most of that stuff got demolished or turned into slums (permanently).

Even in non-housing shortage situations every single metro area has gotten suburbs before and after WWII. Look at Chicago! They outgrew their city limits by the early 20th century!

It's not my fault, it's caused by X.

Once you recognize this shit, you'll see it ALL OVER THE FUCKING PLACE. Leftists, incels, rightoids, femoids, trads, whores, etc, etc, etc.

It's the root of the problem in the world today. It's not my fault, if only X was Y. Fuck that shit. Sure, you got dealt a shit sandwich, but bitching about it and crying and folding is entirely-bitchmade. You man, woman, or genderblob up, ignore the shit you can't change, and change yourself. Get fit - even fatasses in prison can get fit, so do it. Get working on the things you can, and sure, you'll never ever be (insert rich/famous/sexy/whoever here) but you'll not be a fatass sad sack of shit bitching on the Internet.

Rich kid, living in the suburbs, not a whole lot to do besides stare at a bunch of knives? Do something, damn near anything! Talk to the neighbors you have! If you don't have neighbors, you're not suburban, you're rural! Who cares if the neighbors are 60 year old boomers, talk to them! Get to know them! You'll be surprised what happens. Do something! Imagine whomever you idolize, stuck where you are. Would they sit and moan like a bitch?

If you have a Tesla you can literally play a video game on the car itself. I don’t know if you can do it while the car is moving as a passenger.

Also if you’re pulling out the whole fucking setup on the train prepare to have every single child on the train to try and join in.

I learned that the hard way when I had to fight a feral child for my Ambernic console on a train.

But r/fuckcars told me everybody on a train is well behaved and won't do this. In fact being concerned about how other people behave on the train is, like, racist or something. It's just not possible that people could be a nuisance to you on public transit, because that would mean the car has an advantage, and if that's true, just look at car crash statistics until you agree with me.

r/fuckcars will never acknowledge this only works with homogenous Whites and East Asians*

*East Asians must be gender segregated and preferably not mainland Chinese

Then in the same sentence they will bitch about the crackhead overdosing and shitting himself on the bus, but you can't suggest police because that's problematic. Better get a social worker to deal with the methed out hobo threatening to stab everyone with a rusted knife.
