Yeah that's become one of his go to tactics, when the goal is within reach. Mind you, as has been stated numerous times, the point of changing to this new goal system was to put less pressure on the viewers to hit the goals.

You're not wrong about the cancer bit but, frankly as said above, if we are gonna try say because some people misunderstood DSP saying his wife has cancer vs she is at high risk of cancer in this whole fucking mess of him lying once again it's DSP's problem not mine.
