Corn fuels are stupid and economically impractical unless they're being made from the waste products of things you're already growing anyway.
It's the subsidies. More diesel and coal energy go into farming the corn than ethanol energy comes out, but it doesn't matter because the government is paying so much for the corn it would already be profitable to just grow it and burn it, so growing it and turning it into a product is just free money

The reason that governments are hellbent on smothering any mildly right-wing group is because there's more and more disaffected young men that want meaning and they know that the current society wants them to be beaten down paypigs. Burger here. But AFAIK, he first would have to be elected to parliament. Then, whatever party he was elected under would have to win the majority of seats in parliament. Finally, the same party would have to vote for him as PM. A lot more hoops to jump through that I doubt the globalists in Caunckistan would allow to happen.
