In the recent stream he did with PPP, he was endlessly glazing PPP to the point where it was ridiculous. Saying all PPP ideas are great, DSP didn't deserve him, how he felt jealous DSP got a show with PPP instead of him, and etc.

I get Cambien is thankful for PPP in helping him grow his audience and make a lot more money doing this work. However, he just doesn't see how this is such a double edge sword that's fickle. He splurts out too much personal info, advertises what irks him, and just a overall normie between two spheres that will exploit him.

Any idea that PPP planned to snake DSP from the beginning which most people including myself thought before this leak has now been refuted. PPP in addition to sending many hundreds of messages was giving DSP actual advice, offering to fly DSP out to meet wrestlers in Florida with him while paying all expenses, revealing private information about his secret vacations with Warski and information about how he does his taxes, etc. There would be no reason for PPP to send all those messages if he planned to snake him later!

I agree with everything you said here, I think we just have a difference of perspective.

I definitely believe the original plan was never to snake Phil because honestly I doubt PPP realized exactly how much of a bumbling retard Phil really was. They probably didn't expect Phil to stick around like gum on the heel of your shoe.

But DSP made it virtually impossible not to snake him, trying to tell them not to stream because he had plans and wanted to get all of KCs viewers is fucking nuts and it doesn't take a psychologist to know how that's going to make fat boy react.

The thing that is so retarded about Ashton's chimpout, is that there is a calm way to communicate the same point that conveys the same information, while retaining self-control. You do NOT repeat the ultimatum. You give a time window for correction and then calmly end the relation while containing your anger. "You don't want to make me lose my temper because then you'll get fucked up" is an idiotic statement. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry. On Wed, Ashton said something to the effect of "we're gonna cover Phil and other subjects on Friday, we're not going to talk about Phil forever, but this is cathartic for me." Granted, this is better than the eternal gripe state of someone like Doody (yes, I do have an ounce of self-awareness), but doesn't this go against his own advice as "while you're an entertainer on the clock, don't use your audience to work out personal issues?"

Phil may have attempted an epic retcon, but it is obvious that Ashton is too. "We were the true chessmasters" falls apart when 148 pages of text in a very calm and polite tone of voice turn on a dime into instant chimpout, like we saw during the Surfer breakup. We can laugh at BOTH of their retcons.

After having watched the majority of Smark Guy (I am no longer emotionally checked out, so the retardation of having to unironically type that is actively painful), I am at my limit currently. I'm going to attempt an evening viewing of DSP, but I might have to forgo it for something fun instead. I'm not going to look at the Cambian stream at all if I can help it. AT MOST, I will pull a few random stats from random points in the vid, but I severely doubt I'll muster the patience to do even that.

I generally agree, but I am incredibly curious about what his recovery trajectory looks like. This point of curiosity is so strong, I'm willing to endure a lot of DSP streams to indulge my curiosity. I can understand fully why others might not think or feel the same way, but the inquisitive part of myself is overwhelming my sense of self-preservation. There is OBVIOUSLY a genuinely entertaining happening in the making with his announced plans to stream with Ralph next Thursday, but I want to know what happens in between, even if others are uninterested.

New promo dropped. Apparently they changed their mind since Wednesday and are going all in on Phil tonight. Tonight's show was gonna be "intro, whoa buddy, gundam, multiple topics" I guess they decided to go all in on Phil, which is a defensible decision, an argument exists both ways, but I think their first idea was better. Phil IS still retaining high levels of interest based on Wednesday's colossal fuckup. They say they probably aren't revisiting Phil next week until his upcoming Ralph debacle. I think they'd be better off throwing in a bit of non-Phil material at this point, but it ain't my call.

In other news, the Fuck Warski festival is happening tomorrow with Ralph and an assortment of morons. IronWolfSpear apparently has new leaks and I am hoping they are good ones. I'm not terribly optimistic though.

Adjusted for Phil's baseline, he's 1 and 1 today. He made 50 dollars in 2.5 hours of Level One Podcasting and 200 dollars in 3 hours of gaming. For the record, I *just* tuned in to see his daily total, falsely assuming the stream had ended. I did not watch the dent phenomenon in real time, as I intended to do this evening. His lvl 1 podcast was a ridiculous fail, his gaming time was quite profitable however. In the end, it is not that consequential, it only affects how much gatcha he plays. But assuming he didn't fake donos (or even fake too many), he appears to be in a state of recovery. As I said initially, he'll do just fine if he just streams games to his dents, his dents appear to be quite content at present.

Yeah I missed it, my mistake. He'll do fine for the near future, but his support was dwindling before the Casino bump, and now the downward spiral will continue. The Phil cycle is basically this:

1. Phil makes nontent
2. Detractors get bored
3. Support dries up
4. Phil gets desperate and does something stupid
5. Detractors come back
6. Support comes back
7. Phil reacts to the alogging by going back to 1.

This has been going on for years, except the support shrinks every cycle while the number of detractors continues to grow. There will come a point where Phil will become so desperate and destitute that he'll do something extremely stupid. Even dumber than leaking his own DMs that make him look like an idiot.
