Yes, you should calm your tits before you go crazy with non-existent conspiracies. Dobson would never be motivated enough to move to Canada, let alone work for a company that primarily works in CGI projects. He was happy enough to bury himself in Splatoon and excuses before crawling off the net.

Dobson's family is well off and people have suspected that his parents either pay for his bills or he lives with them. I can't recall a time where Dobson begged for money or anything like that. Pretty sure his art school was paid by his parents too. I don't know why you'd think he was on a tug boat.

He's one of the few artists I've seen who didn't do many commissions, not that his art is worth paying for mind you.

Dadson is some kind of engineer or consultant with his own company, and Momson was at one point on the board of the local library, and did community stuff like that. They are not really mega rich, but very comfortable. Upper middle class probably. Of course, all this was pre-Covid, so there's no telling what they do now, or if Dadson's business is still running. Momson is no longer with the library, IIRC.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. I think a lot of the answers to the mystery of Dobson's disappearance might be answered if we ascertained the status of Momson, Dadson, and Broson. Dadson, for example, was no spring chicken in the photos and one news interview he gave from several years ago. His business may have a website, but I don't know if it functions anymore. If not, the business may be on life support, mothballed or straight up dead. Momson and Dadson may simply have retired. At last report, Broson was working as a news director for a Washington, D.C. startup news channel/media company.

It'd be nice if someone with good Sherlock-fu would take up the case and see what info they could definitively track down on the current status of Momson, Dadson, and Broson.

Dadson was apparently in with local government and business to the point he didn't need to advertise or have a website and seems to have gotten all his business via networking. There was nothing to be found for his business except an BBB listing the LLC.

I got tired of reading the thread and did it the old-fashioned way.

Andrew Dobson is from Spencer, MA. His mother is Lynn Dobson. Lynn's mother (Andrew's maternal grandmother) is Ann W. LePoer and her sister (Andrew's aunt) is JoAnn LePoer. Andrew's brother is Benjamin Dobson and their father is Wilson G. Dobson. There is also Lynn's father, John P. LePoer and some fucking dude named Tim Harrington.

Also say hi to their old dog, Puck. He looks like he was a good boy.

Wilson and Lynn absolutely live at 7 McCormick Rd, Spencer, MA 01562 and Wilson has a second property at 82 Hastings Rd. I confirmed this with a Spencer, MA government document assessing the value of homes in the city. I have attached this document, which is a public record. There could be a second Wilson G Dobson in Spencer, but it's much more likely that the guy owns two properties.

Research indicates that Wilson is in his early 70's, much too young to be dying. I also cannot find an obituary, which are common in Massachusetts. I ended up finding his Facebook indicating he is a retired engineer, he plays piano, and loves cycling. I checked the reactions to his photos and found Ben Dobson, who currently works at Nexstar Media Group.

His LinkedIn profile is here. I am not going to attempt to archive this so someone has to do it. I will also not be uploading any photos of his page because I used my personal LinkedIn to get this information and do not want to accidentally dox myself. Dobbro is a News Director in Washington, DC. Prior to this, he was a VP of News at NBC10 in Boston. Considering how fuckhuge Nexstar Media is compared to NBC10, I'd call this a promotion. In fact, Dobbro's career trajectory looks normal and it doesn't make me think that Andrew did anything to fuck it up.

Both Dobbro and Dobdad set their Facebook friends to private.

For anyone who cares: John LePoer died in 2021. In this obituary, we learn that Andrew's middle initial is I - Andrew I Dobson.

Anyway, it's way past my bedtime and I'm going to bed. My best guess is Andrew is back to living with his parents.

Edit to add: I should be respectful and say RIP to John LePoer, he looked like a decent enough fella.

I don't think so. Chris took many emotional kicks to the head, which is what mellowed him out. Dobson has always been a bitter, unlikeable coward. The one time he found a woman willing to give him a chance, he drove her away.

I think it's more that Dobson is insecure and afraid of being vulnerable because he doesn't want to get hurt. It fits the bullied nerd profile.

Using street view, the nearby houses all have different numbers on their mailboxes. The only house nearby which could be Number 82 is on McCormick Road, Number 14, which is this house here:

That house has no access to Hastings Road that I can see, either in street view or overhead view. Given that the valuation shows no entry for improvements, it's possible it's just an empty lot Dadson was planning to build on or just use as an investment. This makes sense, as a very brief check on properties with the Use Code 1300 seem to be un-numbered properties or like this one, 66 Paxton Road, where a home is/was under construction:
