If he won't rehome them then what's the purpose of keeping them? Surely it can't all be an ego thing. Who'd house hundreds of ferrets for a simple ego boost?

I really don't get, why he wants to expand to be able to house 250 Ferrets. He's not a breeder (debatable), zoo, etc. As he says. It's a RESCUE and from what I know their job is to rescue the animals and if possible find them new homes.
Also the only way for there to be 250 Ferrets in his vicinity that need rescue, is for him to hoard the Ferrets, forcing people to buy "new" ones. The way he runs his rescue, is actually contributing to the fact that more Ferrets need to be rescued.
He has all the supply, but doesn't answer to the demand (like 2 people that are just like him I would wager).

This is 100% up a psychotic furry's ego / kink boosts.
He has an army of personal lil furballs to show off to all his other furfag friends.
These are people who spend thousands of dollars buying adoptable furry art just to show off for status to other furs.
This is ABSOLUTELY something they'd do for a boost.

Just chiming in, it's not a real rescue; especially with his intent to have 250. A real rescue aims to re-home, or care till end of life; this is not the kind of org that aims to have hundreds of animals just because. A real rescue would ideally be working to put themselves out of business, as animals/pets wouldn't be mis-cared for, abandoned, or whatever. You don't rescue those because you want to collect them like Pokemon, you rescue them, ideally, because you have a pure heart.

He runs a unregistered rescue so he can have his musky ferret ranch; and not be seen as an animal hoarder. He's not saying his limit is 250, he's saying his goal is 250. Maybe I'm a retard; but I'd prefer pets/animals be safe and secure, not need to be rescued, than listen to someone proclaim he's gonna collect all 250 Pokemon in the Johto Region. Him monetizing it via a 24/7 stream is just a bonus.

I can't say for certain if anything truly wrong is going on. But furry, pooner, and a number of deaths from listening to other detail how ferrets barely pass the survival-of-the-fittest bar; but my beliefs lean towards danger, and there's nothing pure about the weasel ranch.

There aren't. He buys them from local pet stores to "rescue" them, which causes the pet stores to get more inventory, so he can "rescue" more. He claims he rescues them from the pet stores before the store puts them down due to being inventory past their sell date. The reality is he's just perpetuating the pet stores getting and stocking more inventory. He just wants to hoard ferrets because he's a disgusting furry.

It would be like a real animal rescue buying puppies from the pet store every week, they don't do that.
