I wouldn't be surprised if he fell for, essentially the same trick he fell for two weeks ago, when he bricked his Xbox. The video appears to be him troubleshooting the result of his stupidity and coming to the conclusion that he was tricked again.

Raxx is a perfect mixture of "pathetic", "annoying", and "genuinely morally reprehensible" that makes seeing him lose and be miserable just a delight to see. He's an undeniably pathetic creature, but he's so awful you can't really feel any sympathy for him.

After seeing the WGH clip I'm no longer skeptical about Raxx trying this in the future. However, he'd need to get the mobo out first, which would involve disconnecting almost every other component inside the case. Hopefully one of his friends will guide him through the process so he doesn't accidentally short something.

Whoever he was talking to lead him into doing a bad BIOS flash. In the most basic terms possible he overwrote the fundamental files needed to boot up a PC in the first place. There are ways to fix it depending on the make, but Cyraxx will not be able to follow along with that.

Yeah, i researched how to fix a botched bios flash and there's no way Cyraxx would be able to do it

I think whats left for him is to hire some tech support guy to work on his PC

I believe he has a Asrock B550M-C motherboard, which (to my knowledge) doesn't have one of those dual-BIOS things to help recover from BIOS corruption. I think it's quite literally impossible for him to fix this at home.
Whoever did this basically accomplished what the CIH computer virus did back in the 90s, minus the storage overwriting bit. (Although CIH could actually do this from within Windows!)

I'd love to see him fiddle around with an eeprom flash tool. The only shame in this is that some enabler sent him an actually decent computer with an R5 3600 instead of that old piece of shit Michael Hacking sent him that was just the guts of some fifteen year old old e-waste shoved into a transparent case filled with RGB fan lights.

For those that don't know this is the only way of fixing what he fucked up. Hooking up an external jumper to the tiny ROM chip on a board full of chips that all look the same, getting the correct bios, and writing it onto the chip bit by bit. This needs knowledge of the hardware being worked on, a flashing tool, flashing software, a working computer. None of which the 43 has, nor can use correctly. I don't even know if there's a computer shop in the area that's competent enough to. Sally's certainly not gonna pony up the money to fix it that's for sure.

That’s not even giving him ideas Raxx doing some kind of pity/beg upload is almost given. He still has a phone right? Probably attempting to record a video to upload to Facebook/YouTube as I type
