That's the thing. Most people who wanted an EV in the first place were pot-smoking liberal hippies who believe in the Climate Change stuff and believe in getting rid of fossil fuel as fuel for cars. EVs were supposed to be the first step for that. So what happens when the EV manufacturer sides with the dude whose party platform is "drill baby, drill", and who supports a lot of anti-liberal stuff? A lot of fires.

Meaning there is a high incentive for her to try and advance up the food chain, Schumer isn't going to be alive forever. the florida people are in super safe blue districts but ultimately at the mercy of the very red state of florida, so they're just going to try and make as little noise as possible and collect a paycheck for decades like most other safe blue districts in red states do. the only reason districts like Maxwell's even exist in florida is the civil rights act.

its an amazing experience and the costumes are amazing and its one of the few musicals that remembers that people are seeing instead of listening and that means they give a shit about the performances and especially the dances? beyond that its like a jukebox musical except the songs are mostly all original but are just made in a way that makes them all feel like the sort of song that would be the centerpiece of a real musical. did i mention the cats go out into the crowd or that the make up is amazing?
