No gook, thankfully. It is hard to explain. The book discuses the nature of reality and truth. The word "hyperreality" comes up a bunch. Basically the truth of reality is so far buried under interpretation and bullshit that we have no idea what is what.

Very bad summary. Very complex book.
I know that book inspired the matrix. IIRC, in the matrix revisited, Keanu was told to read that book to understand the script. Among other books too.

The Democratic Party are in even worse conditions than I thought if their voterbase are seriously rallying behind AOC of all people. She has none of the advantages that past nominations have had:

-She doesn't have Obama's charisma and leadership skills
-She doesn't have Hillary's connections and intelligence (say what you will about her, but she was smart)
-She doesn't have Biden's wealth and influence

She's like those underdogs fighting the heavyweight champion in the ring, except she's gonna get her ass steamrolled because honestly has no clue about politics or how to run a country. Some people might assume that her running with a more grassroots-like campaign (I don't think Sanders supporting her from the side is a coincidence) is going to churn out a result like Trump had with his first campaign, but that won't work either because she doesn't have Trump's successful business history and background.

There are no true leaders in the Democratic Party anymore, just followers who think otherwise. Gavin Newsom is the only one who comes close to being that, but he's a white male, so there's little chance he's actually going to get the nomination. Not only that, but his recent moderate-leanings have been noted by many to simply be surface-level, which is exactly the last thing the Party needs right now - they need to restructure and regroup, they need to overhaul their core premise and stay firmly in the moderate side of the political spectrum from now on, but that's going to be difficult for them when their core voters have become rabid and uncontrollable. I have no doubt in my mind that the DNC is going to try the same bag of tricks as before come 2028, but they're the party of yesterday, and as of how they are today, they're not going to survive tomorrow.

It is literally the Broadway musical you take your wife/girlfriend to see so you can then go home and never have to see one again. Cats is one of the most useful relationship tools in the world. It is a Broadway, which has prestige attached to it, it has catchy music, so you don’t have to suffer and to top it all off, your wallet won’t catch fire from purchasing the tickets.

Cats is famous for a reason, people clued in to the benefits ages ago.

Again I ask what would killing trump really accomplish?
It would, in a sense, let modern dictatorship become a little more naturalized under an effective uniparty.

This is the start of a wet dream. Of course, there is still congress to deal with which I think is a smart move. Again, with the elections a relatively short two years away, force through these big congressional issues before the election to weed out those who vote against Donald Trump; Democrats and Republicans. I actually kind of find it fascinating Congress hasn't been in the news as much ever since the Address' Wile E. Coyote sign antics.

In their attempts to prevent a dictatorship they would create a dictatorship

AOCs primary advantage is she makes herself very visible and she has a very stupid online following who thinks that she's "authentic". I've seen a lot of sentiment lately on social media how she's basically a younger Bernie, how she doesn't care about money she's a real one, all sorts of dumb bullshit. These people who think this are too stupid to remember when AOC and the squad overstepped and Pelosi neutered them and AOC fell in line like a whipped animal.

As far as sheer name recognition though she's probably one of the most well known national level Democrats who isn't a fag, tranny, or Jew, so the zoomer and millennial dem crowd love her. I think they'd be mistaken to pull their eggs in the AOC basket but never interrupt your enemies when they're making a mistake.

I cannot back AOC in any way since the first time I saw her speak and realized that she's like a preschool teacher addressing some three year olds. The big-BIG eyes, the nodding, the cadence of her speech. She thinks she's talking to children or particularly bright animals, and I find that offensive.

They genuinely think they would win a civil war. They don't know that while starting a civil war is pretty easy, ending it the way they want it to end is much harder. Their echo chamber only serves to reinforce their Dionysian view if reality, so they believe killing Trump would cow the Right into submission.

yeah that's really cruel to assume democrat voters are so smart
she should dumb down her messaging

on the subject of other Future Of The Democrat Party types, Maxwell Frost is worth bringing up, First Zoomer Representative out of Central FL, also Anna Eskamani might move up in the food chain
she's been mostly Orlando-ish but I could see her having bigger ambitions than Florida

So you kill trump, then Vance becomes president, Vance and the other Republicans will use this as an excuse to purge the internet, and even society at large. This event will cause normies to become apprehensive of the left, and they will loose all political power in the country. Killing Trump would make him a martyr and give the rest of his team the perfect reason to go all in.
Some normies I've been around may breathe a sign of relief at the news of Trump's assassination. These are not political junkies, but they still have TDS thanks to their online and television news feeds. They only think of the short-term gratification instead of the long-term consequence.

Currently in Orlando for a few days and just saw my first goddamn Cybertruck in the wild. What a fucking hideous blight. It looks like a child built it with a bunch of big ass off brand Legos. Like a video game graphic that failed to render. Just supernaturally FUGLY.
I recently saw a black one outside of a restaurant. It looks so much better than a big silver polygon. Tesla charges $6000 to do a black wrap and it does make the difference in appearance.

I still wouldn't buy one because I'm not gay, but it looks much better in black.

I don't really see her as anything but another Bernie, where she promises socialist bullshit during her campaign and rakes in tons of donations from people who believe it, but then takes a fall for the actual DNC candidate. All the AOC money funnels into that candidate (she gets a kickback of course) and the disappointed socialists vote for the DNC handpuppet as a consolation prize.

Who cares if a nuclear power goes into a civil war, at least drumpf is dead.

With all the nonsense going on with the courts, the midterms are even more important. If the magic really happens and the 'based' conservatives end up gaining seats we might actually see a future that looks something like what we were promised as children. Trump's going to need congress to act on a lot of his stuff to make it permanent and I think to many of them are faggots at the moment to do it.
