I went through this entire thread and I haven't seen anyone mention this, so I'd like to interject for a moment and say that "негр" in Russian is not a slur. Its equivalent in English would be the word "black", as used in reference to a PoC (Person of Cornstarch).
The slur would be the word "ниггер", and it is pronounced exactly as you would say "nigger".
So yeah, Alex is a stupid ниггер, and his Russian is, indeed, shit.
