Very much so. The problem with Milgoons is that they spend all their time screaming "But I'm not THAT kind of veteran" meaning the assholes getting mad about stolen valor, putting Molon Labe stickers on their Jeep and wearing camo pants and Ray Bans to Disney Land. Problem is, they're just as bad

See, you have 3 groups of veterans. The super patriotic guys that can be real dickholes about minor military shit even though they're out and decorate everything they own with their service record and other shit that screams "Sandbox Tour 2004-2008". These guys will bring up their service at the cash register asking for veteran discounts anywhere they shop and tap their CAC or show off their tattoo. Any guy at the bar with a SEAL or Ranger tattoo or a guy on Facebook lecturing you about enjoying Memorial Day is an example of this dude

The regular guys who blend back in to society after they get out and might have a memento or two, only bring up service when asked about it and normally keep any shit that would identify them as a veteran in their home office. They never bring it up on social media unless someone asks about it. Think Dick Winters or Buzz Aldrin

Then you have the super-leftists who almost always were the most hated guy in their unit. The one that thinks they're super good, really smart and way more knowledgeable about everything politically and militarily than their chain of command. The guys who will bring up whatever little bits of knowledge they gained from a youtube or netflix documentary to argue whatever ideology (It's always socialist) they are spouting as a holy truth. They thinkt hey didn't make rank because everyone was against them for being too good or some kind of minority in the service, when the reality is they just had a shitty elitist attitude while only having the skill set of a layman. Bradley Manning and Hawkeye from the later seasons of MASH are really good examples.

SA's military group is about 1% group 1, 4% group 2 and 95% group 3, so they can echo chamber real bad and shout down the others when they start bringing up the incompetence of the ruling class

My uncle was on a navy destroyer during Nam. From what he tells me about his personal experience with seals, I infer two things about real spec ops guys: 1) they don't ever brag about who they are or what they've done, and 2) stay they fucking fuck out of their way.

Thats the older generation, the newer guys won't shut the fuck up about it for the most part. SEALs for the most part are fucking obsessed with themselves, Deltas otoh are pretty low key about it

I think she knows it is. Since she got demodded from dnd and made queen of niggerville she has long stretches without posting. Trolls quit posting days after the sub forum was created and she was less active with no one to probate. This latest post is basically begging people to post there so she can issue bans.

If she stops posting because she got bored without fights to pick, that means her opponents beat her completely and got all they wanted and she doesn't even realize it.

It might be an excuse to drag it out. If he did the more obvious solution (freeze and archive the forums, just do user data) people would be wondering why it wasn't done already. Saying he wants to move it all over with that fucking monstrosity of a code base gives him more time to beg for money or just not do it. Or just get more money, move just the user shit over, pocket the excess and say 'whoops, didn't have enough'. It makes no sense to transfer that abortion over.

Though the more likely answer is that he's fucking stupid.
