Really. Y'all should pay attention to what people buy at the grocery store.

If you are in a nog area you'll notice how the store has less produce or untouched produce but more aisles for frozen pizza and frozen meals. If you are in a bougies area its the opposite. EBT people mostly buy frozen microwave dinners and bullshit like that. You can tell because of two major signals.

1. Around the first of the month a whole cart full of frozen goyslop.
2. Rest is chips and shit.
3. They always go to the smokes aisle to buy cartons of smokes with cash after using EBT.

When I lived in Florida I went out of my way to go to Publix because nogs never went there. They always went to Sweetbay for some reason. In Texas its really any of the nicer HEB neighborhoods.

EBT/SNAP should allow you too purchase mostly fruits, vegetables, canned goods (vegetables/fruit, pickles, etc), dry goods (Rice, Flour, Beans), milk, and maybe ration out a four to five pound chicken every two weeks and a cut of beef every month (chuck roast and the like). Maybe alternate the chicken with ground beef every other month and the beef cut with turkey.

Again, pressure cookers and slow cookers would go a long way to getting these people to eat healthy, but only if we force them too.

With frozen dinners you can load up your deep freezer and be fine, but if you try loading up on fresh fruits and vegetables then by week three the food may be starting to spoil and you go hungry. We've already confirmed that they can't pace their spending to break it up over the course of a month so the current system heavily discourages buying fresh foods that will spoil.
If you make the payments weekly or even biweekly then they have more opportunities to buy fresh fruit an vegetables without worrying about the week after.

Brother, my point I was getting at is that those other "options" would have left me unhealthy, hungry more often, and unable to even ration the entire amount allotted to me over the span of the month.
