Arguments for banning soda from SNAP programs:
  • That shit's not good for you
  • Drinking too much of it leads to health problems
  • Said health problems ultimately get paid for by the tax payer
Arguments for keeping soda:
  • Mountain Dew is the best soda ever
I'm with the MAHA crowd. Making it so you can't buy soda with food stamps would be an effective austerity measure. Plus you have to keep in mind that these same influencers defending Big Soda were clutching their pearls over Luigi Mangione (allegedly) killing the worst healthcare company's CEO.

And I'll say to these influencers now what I said back then. These CEOs won't touch your pee pee just because you shill for them.

It’s time to let go of clown world things, even things you used to love. Really you can still hold onto it and even love it, but recognize the toxic cancerous Jewish messages within and don’t just allow them to enter your brain unfiltered and pollute your mind and soul. I haven't had any Coke in almost a decade now. I stopped drinking it a little before Trump started running for president the first time.

These days I just drink black cherry flavored seltzer. It's like soda just without the sugar.
