The reason everyone is switching to UE5 is so they can hire the extremely cheap indian men who go "I KNOW UNREAL SAAR I MAKE GAME FOR YOU SAAR" and then produce an unoptimized, clunky mess that actual game devs have to fix but don't have the time or budget to do so.

Well, for starters they have Tata, which owns Land Rover and Jaguar (lmao). Indians also have Bajaj for cheap bikes. They also assemble the some models for brands like Volkswagen, Kia, BMW and Hyundai that are for sale in the US and other countries. Cummins and Isuzu also source some spares from India, so it's just a matter of time for when your car will start asking for bobs and vagene to even move.

Edited to address: Tata is a partner, not a supplier of spares.

Jeet managers especially when managing people who are not them are absolutely domineering and love throwing their weight around. They are also extra grabby towards women. Especially white women (Said white woman sued the grabby Jeet manager and won the lawsuit and quit). Seen this happen in a Subway a family of Jeets managed to get into back around 2018.

That Subway is no longer around circa current year.

The funny part is that they can't even use the "India is poor saar, pls give gibs saar" to explain the complete lack of a native video games industry.

China wasn't doing all that much better in the 1980s and 1990s, yet they still managed to have a thriving video game industry - and they weren't making simplistic slop either, many of the most famous games of this period were RPGs, many with branching narratives, skill checks etc.

Where is the homegrown Indian gamedev scene? Why, even today, when it's easy as it's ever going to get to make and publish a game with global reach, there has not been a single popular game made solely by Indians?

Statistically speaking, out of 1.4 billion jeets, at least one of them should have managed to make a popular indie title, right?

He told me how before he managed this call center, he managed a pizza shop. He increased profits by reducing the flour by 75g per pizza base. He said he could make an extra 30-40 pizza's a week by doing this. Customer gets less for the same price.

I still think about this everytime I walk in to a fast food joint and see that it is managed by a curry nigger.

I am sadly in another timezone but my old Calc Professor departed a few hours ago. Amazing mentor and actually looked out for us in his class. He still checked in on me once in a blue moon and invited me for his son’s wedding a few years back.

I shared a table with one of his nephews that came in just after the pandemic ended and my god that guy couldn’t stop bragging about being a 10x at Infosys that totally intimidated his interviewers at FAANG from getting hired.

GameEon had no experience in making PC games when they dropped this trailer, and they didn't even start making the game at full production until they put the trailer out. The trailer was also made by another studio. One big sign of the trailer being fake that I noticed, is the fact that they show BRZ (GT86) being driven; it was not sold in Indian market lol.
The Developer got a $25K grant from Epic Games alone, and around $20k-$40K from a fundraiser. They have missed every single one of their deadlines so far. Apparently it's still being developed.
I watched an in-development gameplay footage of this game a few years ago and it looked like someone put an Indian skin to a generic (and very bad) third person shooter.
