Trump stated that 100% of the money made from the Trump Card (the proper name) will go towards paying off the national debt. what are the chances this is true? It seems too good to be true even for Trump since that would knock off billions of dollars from our debt.
As we've discovered over the past 10 years or so, budgets are fungible. You can tax people to say, get rid of drybrush under trees, and they just move the tax income out of that fund into another one to breed retarded fish instead. It's possible Trump will force that into the debt, but it's more likely it'll enter the federal budget and then vanish.

Also, I do not believe you appreciate the scale of the problem. None of us do, because we're not hardwired to handle values like this.

The US National debt at this exact moment is 36,000 billion dollars.

Trump's Gold Card costs 0.005 Billion Dollars each. We would need to sell 7,200,000 gold cards to take down the debt, and it's highly, highly, HIGHLY, likely the Uniparty and RINOs would just immediately spend it elsewhere instead of paying it down, preferably someplace they can embezzle it, as they've done since time immemorial.

Obesity in this country is no fucking joke, and it’s getting to a level where “muh freedom” needs to stop being an argument to excuse and allow this self harm
The solution, and it's one that should be done everywhere is put a tax on being fat. Make it 10% of income or something else that scalable.
Banning food, taxing certain food higher, taxing other food less is just beating around the bush and punishing thin people too.
Tax the fat. Also deny them healthcare for being fat.

how do we decide how much do people get? like a uniform amount?
You examine volatility in food markets, and then artificially create demand through consumption subsidies where needed.
People share/trade their SNAP bennies all the time. If you got a bunch of something you dont like, find someone willing to trade for something you do.
People doing this is what got junk food made eligible for consumption subsidies in the first place.

Recipients use SNAP to get $50 of steak and lobster because their neighbor with a job agreed to pay them $10 for it, which they could then use to buy sodie pops and hot chip. Imagine if we just covered those things? Then their SNAP benefits would last so much longer!

Thing is, this misunderstands SNAP as a supplemental nutrition assistance program rather than a consumption subsidy to stabilize food markets through artificially created demand. Junk food manufacturers do not need this market manipulation to help the junk food sector from collapsing. And as for the entitlement fraud, whether the stuff purchased with SNAP actually goes to feed hungry children or is sold at a discount to someone else so the SNAP recipient can buy cocaine and hookers isn't relevant to the function of artifically creating demand for covered products.

But if we educated people that SNAP isn't about feed poor hungry children, it loses its unassailable political optics.
my sincerest apologies to SNAP recipients i feel responsible
If junk food is removed from SNAP, you may see junk food prices come down as the artificially subsidized demand is removed.

You may also contemplate the meta-possibility of putting junk food on SNAP in order to drive up the price. Productive members of society see the higher prices and fewer of them buy it, improving their health outcomes. The poor people feeding on junk are sacrificial consumers.

It the aspartame
In another study, aspartame, acesulfame potassium, and saccharin were all associated with heightened motivation to eat and more items selected on a food preference list [35]. Aspartame had the most pronounced effect, possibly because it does not have a bitter aftertaste.
drink diet = crave more= eat more = thirst more = weight gain.
Aspartame breaks down into three components in the body: aspartic acid, methanol, and phenylalanine. Phenylalanine is an amino acid that’s a precursor to tyrosine, which is used to produce dopamine and norepinephrine. In theory, this could indirectly influence mood-related hormones, but the amount of phenylalanine from typical aspartame consumption (e.g., a diet soda) is tiny compared to what you get from regular foods like meat, eggs, or dairy. So, it’s unlikely to have a noticeable effect on feel-good hormones.
I remember writing a report on asparteme and its health implications in high school and the teacher said she wasn't impressed with my fundings, or something along those lines. Bitch was wrong I was right.

there's your problem
I love the concept of "white" and "white (not hispanic)", peak mutt world lunacy. It COMPLETELY fucks any demographic break down when we talk about almost anything since so many "white people" show up in a ton of datapoints they probably shouldnt.
In all likelihood, a lot of those white statistics are "white hispanics."

Michael “Get on that trampoline and bounce, and I’ll make you a star!” Bay has always been a Republican (or at worst the kind of Democrat Trump used to be) he helped grow the American Machismo memes from the ground up. I mean how could you not tell?
Nothing says America like blowing up a piece of it for show.

Why is it called the Midwest if it's the eastern portion of the center area? Shouldn't we be calling it the Middle East instead?
Ohio and Kentucky really shouldn't be considered part of the Midwest, but it probably goes back to a time when it was considered the west. In the early 1800s, Cincinnati was the gateway city to the West, until St. Louis grew up into a real city, and it's really just a designator for states that are between the Rockies and Appalachians, but aren't Southern or Texas.

Fucking Mcdonalds can take EBT now and that just infuriates me. Soda and junk food are luxuries and shouldn't be fucking subsidized by taxpayers. What's with these tweets "let people decide for themselves"? If they're spending someone else's money, aka people who pay taxes' money, then they don't get a fuckin say.
I actually thought you were pulling our chain so I checked it out if EBTs can be used at McDonalds and I could not believe it was allowed. It blows my mind they can use these at KFC, Pizza joints and McDonalds. Now it starts to make sense - I know a guy that gets the cards from the government and something he said one day made me finally get the hint that he and his wife do not cook at home so I asked him how he and their 4 kids eat and they hinted at fast food. I found out after he and the family were getting near a grand a month on cards and yep, spending it on fast food because I pointedly asked.

I earn a great deal more than what he does and I shudder when I do indulge and see the prices they charge for this crap, and now to know I am actually paying for it. I am disgusted.
