Just keep bringing up new, vague, expensive requirements until you successfully run out the clock and the event can't be held. Everything in it besides the fact that it was leaked makes everybody involved look pretty good. Vance is a VP who is actually involved in important issues, pushes back on the President's views, but is steadfastly loyal to the President. It would have been great for the Harris campaign if something like this had leaked during the Biden Presidency.

this was about a college banning an event that student organizations planned and funded on their own. for better or worse 18-21 year olds are legally adults and were having an event they wanted to happen stopped by administration. unless FIRE is misrepresenting the arguments the university made, trying to curb someone's first amendment right over something being “offensive” and “inconsistent with” the “core values of its universities, including the value of respect for others.” (A) is some dumb boomer-ass logic and was bound to fail because the religious right used up all their social capital getting mad at rock music and D&D and Harry Potter
