Are you ready for the intersection of Disney adults and fake service dogs? Found on Something Awful.

There's no greater way to promote social justice than trying to get 27 minimum wage workers fired for saying hi to your dog.
None of these stories are true. What actually happened is some college kid worker pet her “service dog” without asking first and she turned it into this overblown story for attention. No one actually gives a shit about random strangers and/or their dogs in real life, especially not 27 different employees over the course of two days.

Facebook Algorithm suggested a Disney Park group to me this morning. Figured I give it a peek since the Farms were down for maintenance.

Amongst the standard “is going to Disney World in July a good idea” and “what was your favorite restaurant at Epcot” posts were:

An account of how traumatizing the Tron ride was

Regret from not buying a specific bag

Someone going to Disneyland for the first time after visiting Disney World literally over 25 times

As much as I love purses that look like other things (soda can, basketball, N94 mask), this is just impractical as fuck. It's hard to get a good sense of scale with how far the child(?) is from it. I can see removing the strap and using it as a cookie jar, but there's no way this can actually hold a handbag's worth of... stuff.

Holy shit, not a nap in sight. Even as an adult, I'd be at my limit by midday. Poor tyke was either hopped up on sugar, passed out in a stroller for half the journey or miserable.

Holy shit, dude.
I found her, by the way. She posted a photo on TikTok but it's got the kid in it.
Here are some comments, though:

"Amazing memories"? The kid isn't going to remember this.

That looks like a popcorn bucket. They constantly put out new themed ones that are limited edition.
These buckets are pure consoomer slop. I remember in 2022 when they released a Figment popcorn bucket for the Festival of the Arts in Epcot.

It's more creative than other popcorn buckets at least, but this thing caused a tsunami of hype and crowded lines at the parks. Scalpers were selling them on eBay for absurd prices. It should be noted that its retail price was $25.

The situation in the parks was abysmal. Lines were outside the gates and people were standing around for over 7 hours.

Doing all this for some plastic that you'll use functionally once and then set on a shelf is insane. Most of them likely never put popcorn in it anyway.

The ones at the Japanese parks are pretty nice from a design standpoint. Absolute madness though.

Better yet, I found the Facebook post where she had originally posted it. The kid is goddamn 17 months old. What memories?? Show him the same Bluey episode to him 5 times in a row and he still won't be able to guess the ending. What the hell did he do to deserve this?

Jesus Christ, take your kid out to lunch, then go visit a pet store to see some cute animals, and walk around a hardware store for a little while explaining different tools and appliances, it’ll cost you about $20 and two hours of your time and they’ll be talking about it just as much and as excitedly.

It kinda already happened with Celebration. All I remember about that off the top of my head is the draconian rules, very sanitized to the point of being eerie atmosphere, and someone murdering his family there.
Honestly, completely fucking up, not learning their lesson, and trying again on an exponentially larger scale is pretty on brand for Disney atm.
