Why isn't there custom imitation software made for the government if it's so useful?

Cause it would take like 15 years and 200mil to get it done and implemented thanks to the immense bureaucracy of the government and it would be shittier and less secure. So no one can really be bothered to go out of their way and get the process at least started, specially when you can just use signal. And besides, its either secure enough that it doesn't need to be worried about, or it benefits the NSA as they can keep tabs on everyone. Not just US either, but all the allied nations and some non allied ones too.

Amazing how so many people can be tricked I to thinking they are the resistance by bureaucrats. These people whine about Americas involvement n other cou tries and yet think we should have a war with Russia, these people think that America is racist hellhole and yet, illegals were able to leech of this country for 30 years without any real force against it. These people whine about lgbt rights and yet fawn over countries and groups like Iran or Palestine. They are tools nothing more nothing less.

They also whine about "checks and balances" when it comes to Trump, yet think judges, who were not elected, can wield unchecked power and tell the president what to do.

Conversely, when you suspect a leak, you want to make it as easy as possible for the leaker to do their thing to make it easier to identify them.

The federal government really needs to start muddying the waters with fake leaks. At this point, it's just not reasonable to assume that there won't be further leaks, so discrediting the real leaks seems like a more effective approach.
