You gotta consider how his content changed over the years. Yes, the pig never changes, but his content sure did. Back then he was the same inept asshole, but he did upload videos of gameplay. But now? Most of his time is spent on the pre-stream talking about the pre-stream. The last one, the future ones, what needs to be done for him to make as much money as possible. The business meeting jokes are spot on - he talks more about making money than anything else. This is what he seems to enjoy the most nowadays. Not just begging but also structuring everything in a way to give him the most money possible. My guess is that after discovering his gambling addiction other things simply don't give him much satisfaction anymore. And hitting goals is similar enough to give him some kind of rush. Of course, absolutely everything is about him, he can't even pretend to think about someone else.

It's amazing that it worked out so well for him. The only streamers I do listen to as background noise is Kino Casino & MATI and they both make stupid money. They do it by having the rewards equal content people wanna see. At the end of many streams KC will entice the Whales by going "Hey donate us 100 Subs ($600) and we'll watch whatever stupid content you want us to watch within reason" and they make that money. Null on MATI just makes money with his superchat endings and reads what feels like 100+ Messages. I used to skip those but Null will oftentimes bust out an amazing compelling argument just from one donor's comment and they're great because it shows how fast Jersh Moon thinks on his feet. Like it's good content when someone plans out an interesting show with many topics but it's insanely impressive when someone can stay interesting while being ad-lib.

Like if I were a streamer like Phil I'd do "It's Donor's Choice Night! You pick a game I got on Steam and I'll play it for an hour but you have to give me a $50 Superchat!" Phil would just need 3 paypiggies to reach his current Goal. Sounds like a real good way to part retards with their money.

Edit: I just heard PPP claim that Beardson is DSP's 3rd guest co-host for Smark Guys. There's a chance that PPP is just joking but if this goes down then I apologize to Null and everyone else who told me this wasn't Kayfabe. I don't think PPP would in good conscious encourage DSP to associate with a fucking Groyper. If he does this please Gabe Hoffman send in Mossad!

Phail's khantent is like when a shock jock radio show's host loses his mind and runs out of ideas, so suddenly the entire show becomes purely self-referential and because of that their fans leave and they have mere months left before the show gets pulled from the air. The difference of course is that Phail's been keeping that up for several years now with no real end in sight.

what he needs is to learn deep breathing and fix his emotions/past trauma/ improve his personality and finally improve his life.

I've had past employment in the Gaming Industry, I've worked bartending and also was a Slot Machine technician for a while. With both those jobs I learned and understood slot machine zombies. They are ADDICTED, and some not to really burning money. One cool guy who made bank with his construction company just liked chilling out betting THREE CENTS on Video Keno and when his daily $60 fun money was done he'd happily go home or to his office. He was at the point in his career where his business could run itself 95% of the time and he'd rather sit on a comfy casino chair and sip coffee and water taking cell phone calls than be in the office - his little secret was that he didn't want to be at home because then the wife would be asking "Why couldn't you come home to me?" I think he also didn't want her to know that he wasn't busting his ass anymore. He was the best case scenario for a Slot Machine Zombie.

Phil psychologically seems much like a slot machine zombie but with a convoluted system. I think he loves his Schedule because it doesn't risk any dramatic change or knowledge. Like earlier I suggested Phil lets big tippers choose his games for him but I think he wouldn't do that because he would dread it if they made him play a game he's not ready to play. Phil keeps the business meetings because I'm pretty certain every business meeting is the same thing over and over again.

Not that surprising. He is fully aware of how people who know of him see him. And it clashes violently with how he sees himself. His narcissism prevents him from acknowledging his own shortcomings, so him running away from the rest of the world is very expected.

It was crazy when he said he was watching the Kino Casino and started talking to himself because he forgot he wasn't on stream. A while back he forgot to mute when ending the stream and we could hear him babbling nonsense to himself. We also saw in the DMs how a lot of his messages read like prestreams where he would start rambling about himself and his legacy.

He's in a self-constructed hell where mentally he's always at work and he stresses himself out. He tries to counterbalance this with easy dopamine activities like gin, social media, online shopping, and whaling out on gacha but it makes his mood worse because, unlike actual hobbies like exercise or arts, when you come down from a cheap dopamine rush you have nothing to show for it and you're right back wallowing in your own mental filth.

The only way he could break out of this is by completely stopping his streams as they are; switch to a different paradigm that allows creativity and experimentation. Get real life hobbies that are seperate from his online world. Get a real life friend group.
Kino Casino sort of offered him this spider's thread -- which is fitting given PPP's similarity to the Buddha -- with the Superbowl vacation and helping him with a new format for streaming. He really should have put in work for them because that was probably his last chance to escape his fate.

It's not that bad. Beat it and a few other isometric RPGs with a pad during the dead PC days (Baldur's Gate 1 was a bit irritating sometimes)

I hope Phil gets far enough in to see some of the gay content or the character being unsure of their sexuality, that'll break him.

The Disco Elysium playthrough is unwatchable. TIHYDPs are genuinely flattering to Phil as they make him seem quicker and less alcohol-brained. I didn't realize he was such a slow, retarded, and sheltered person. I swear he didn't came across as this low IQ five years ago. Also, why the fuck is his face so droopy? It's like his brow, eyes and jowls are slowly melting. What the fuck happened to this man over the past few years? I've seen severe drug addicts decay at a less rapid pace.

He doesn't do anything. He doesn't even fail checks in a game that encourages him to. He didn't punch Kuno or Measurehead and he barely interacted with Klaasje. How the fuck does he manage to make the most boring non-decision every single time?
