I am very receptive to the arguments that the Venezuelan gang people should have gotten a day in court to make their case.

I am also extremely concerned about the judicial branch and its politicization.

And I am outright enraged over my principles being taken advantage of by bad actors so that they can do awful things that hurt me and the country.

Ultimately this whole situation has come about because the judiciary got way too involved with politics and now the level of distrust in the law as an institution is at critical levels. Trump should give the gangbangers their day in court and he was wrong not to do so, but Trump has legitimate reasons not to trust anyone in a black robe.

It is a sad state of affairs.

I've gotta disagree with you there. Every sobbing gangbanger you'll see in the coverage would have told you he knows where Jimmy Hoffa was buried if it meant he could go home. They'll say anything. If they wanted to come here, they ought to have done it by the books. This problem doesn't have a pretty solution, and it's not the baby or the bathwater that need to get thrown out, it's the entire tub. It's an extraordinary situation that requires an extraordinary use of the executive's power to begin to put on a reverse track. We simply do not have the time or the money to litigate each and every one of them, and these are the ones ICE already had the details on. The worst of them, and the priority.

More than that, the government has at this point given them several options and a generous amount of time to log in and self-report. Do it now the easy and dignified way, or face the consequences of being a criminal migrant. Being here illegally is in itself a crime.

If the punishment is to be thrown into a foreign prison and forgotten, I would want to make sure they are actually gang members. A person that has only committed the crime of illegal entry should not be sent to a place like that and if they get scooped up in this, that is awful.

the first category are for people they view as possible equals, which is pretty much just white, straight men. by keeping the conversation away from providing these men tools and skills to support themselves and be independent from the government, liberal white women can make sure they're ensnared by societal oversight that prevents them from doing too much wrongthink. tricking them into being trannies is also acceptable since it pushes them into the category below

the second category is for every other type of man. gay, black, latino, disabled, crazy. people who are beneath them. liberal white women don't view these types of men as people. they're closer to pitbulls. women are more than happy to let these men run around and hurt each other because in their mind they're literal animals and they just need to be trained properly and then they'll fall in line, but not have power over them

This is another thing that keeps getting overlooked, exactly. We've only reached the El Salvador Solution because Venezuela wasn't willing to play ball with their own citizens. We gave them a chance to take their people back, and they decided to try and wear the big boy pants and demand we take on the responsibility. That is not how this arrangement works. More to the point, if it's so bad that we're throwing poor dindus in supermax, then why didn't you want to take them yourselves, El Salvador, could there possibly be a reason you didn't want these specific people back? One struggles to find a reason.

The United States is not your shithole's daycare, nor should we expected to be responsible for saving each and every migrant stuck in some backwards third world hellhole; their leaders need to be held to account and improve their own citizens' standards of living before they have a place next to us in world politics. It's so utterly tiring to hear libshit judges and bleeding hearts point to us like it's our fault instead of simply asking "huh why did those migrants want to leave in the first place?". You should want for the US to pressure them into getting their shit together, as their enrichment serves to benefit everybody involved.
