Part of the reason I’m hoping the rumors about the next Xbox having Steam is to avoid shit like this. I know PC is the better platform because of Steam and Mods and whatnot but the troubleshooting crap you have to go through to get games to work sounds like a nightmare.

I never even liked to consider Bioshock Infinite as part of the same series, it doesn't seem like a Bioshock game at all and I think it's a stretch to give it that title. It's one of the most overrated games ever too, I finally got around to giving it an honest try not too long ago and I thought the whole thing was cringe for the same reasons you said. Bioshock 1 remains the best in the series imo.

A major theme of all of the Bioshock games is political extremism and people going to ridiculous lengths to establish what they see as utopia. Ryan felt that everyone's contributions to the economy would make them a link in a "great chain" that would uphold everyone by making them act in their own self interest, and it made his citizens eat each other. Ryan even broke his own principle when he decided to go after Fontaine and Lamb despite them playing by the rules of his game. Lamb thought that collectivism was the only way forward and that the only way humanity could survive is if they turned into self-sacrificial zombies; you see this with Alex the Great when you go into his lab and he's turned himself into a weird ADAM monster in his quest to become "the first utopian." Ryan and Lamb think that their vision of utopia is so great that people need to be literally forced into it. Same with Comstock, actually, but the theme of being "caged in" is moreso played for Elizabeth and Booker than the general populace.

Comstock thinks that the only way forward is essentially extreme American exceptionalism; his entire city is built off of an idealized version of 1800s America. He's essentially a cult leader in the way that he claims to be able to communicate with an angel of God and uses that justification to do whatever the hell he wants, including oppression of people he doesn't like and justifying turning people he doesn't like into niggercattle slave laborers. If that was all there was to it I'd say I would agree that it's overblown, but the black commie revolutionist group Vox Populi--who, in a modern game, would be depicted as the unequivocal heroes of the setting--are treated as just as bad if not worse than Comstock. Elizabeth even murders their sassy black woman leader after she threatens to kill a white child.

The game is obviously poking fun at American exceptionalism, anti-black racism, etc. but I feel like there's more to it than that. It's showing you two extremes and depicting them as two ends of the same horseshoe. Both Comstock and the Vox Populi are radicalists who enforce their vision of utopia via excessive violence and cruelty, like how Ryan and Lamb did. You can have a society built off of libertarian ideals, or collectivist thinking, or American exceptionalism, but those grand ideas inevitably lead to corruption because their progenitors think they can do no wrong and the solution to any issues is "if I apply more force, surely this will all go away."

You should. It's basically an improvement over the previous entry in every way. Better story, better combat, melee isn't a fucking afterthought. Only issue is the Remaster is about as stable as KF's servers, so make sure you save often.

Edit: never mind. I see where I answered incorrectly.

You failed 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6.

1. The number 1 is not part of the sentence. The words "number" and "letter" are in the sentence, so that's what you should have drawn a line around. In addition, crossing the word out is not drawing a line around, which would mean making a rectangle around the word.
2. There is only one "word" in this line, therefore you should have underlined "word."
4. You crossed out A, when you should have put it in a square ("a line around").
5. The first letter of the alphabet is A, the first instance of A in the sentence is the a in alphabet.
6. You drew three circles, each engulfing the next. It said to have ONE engulfed by the other. Therefore, you should have drawn two circles and then a smaller circle inside one of the two.

I'm being pedantic, but I remember this from one of my high school courses back in the day. English, I believe, because for some reason we had to learn why holding people to standards is racism and we must never do it. But one of the questions had a variable answer each year. "Name 3 horses of this king." Said king had more than 3 horses. For those wondering these drugs were mentioned earlier and yes, every single one of these drugs and their nasty effects are real. Actually, if anything, @FieldPiece is seriously downplaying the effects. Here's a list from the previous time it was mentioned, with sources:

• MPTP is a side effect chemical created if you make some drugs wrong. It gives you Parkinsons. Forever.
• Bromo-DragonFLY is a technically legal hallucinogen that is legal because taking it is it's own punishment. Unlike most other drugs, there are no happy Bromo-DragonFly trips, it's apparently like going to hell itself and it's a time dissonant trip -- you'll be tripping balls for a few days but it will feel like years from your perspective. Oh, and it causes you to vomit blood and random body parts will become necrotic (i.e., parts of your body will start to rot days or weeks after you take it, and there's no treatment). And that's assuming a "safe" dosage, it gets rapidly less pleasant the more you take.
• EA-3167 is another hallucinogen, stupidly potent, very bad trip, and it lasts about two weeks... and that's just the start. It leaves you confused, amnesiac, and unable to speak or think clearly afterwards. After THAT wears off you get to deal with increased levels of "hypochondriasis, depression, hysteria, psychasthenia, schizophrenia, and mania" for upwards of 6 months.

Intentionally lacing narcotics with these would 100% fuck with the entire subculture, but it would also create victims the NGOs would use against the US for the next century. "MUH boy just wanted dem programs dat's why he wuz dooin' dat crak it wuz good for hiz schoolin', but da whypypo gave 'im da shakeys..."

Therefore, I suggest EA-3167 (leaves the victims completely mindfucked or suicidal or both) or Dragonfly (sends the victims to hell) and at unsafe dosages to minimize survivors.
