the thing about the group chat leaking is that its insubstantial in the grand scheme of things, like who cares if they are gonna bomb Yemen?, like that hasn't happened even during the Biden administration, you think the Houthis prepare something that can counter the US air force with this piece of new intel in mind?

the iss the safest, and most boring US military intel leak, the only news here is that the Trump admin are a bunch of retards who cant opsec

I mentioned this before in this thread (or the first US politics thread), but Bioshock Infinite in the most stereotypical 'stupid liberal' game I've ever played. It's top-to-bottom pathological hatred of America, Christianity, and conservatism in general. All done in the most ham-fisted, college-freshemen way I've ever seen from any piece of pre-2016 media.
Let me see here....
✅ Completely overhyped by the media and itself.
✅ Over-promises and under-delivers on its core premise.
✅ Completely focused on shallow aesthetics.
✅ Pretends to be deep and meaningful but lacks all nuance.
✅ Uses cheap gimmicks to pad the play time.
✅ Uses poorly constructed emotional ploys.
✅ Ultimately the message is nihilistic fatalism where your only choice is to be a cuck and kill yourself.

Yep, that checks out.

Because it is so safe, I think it is intentional. It is a move to give parties Trump negotiating with a peek behind the scenes to show he is super duper serious about using the military.

Every weeb always replies with Yoko from Gurran Lagann who is 14 but looks 25, or Konata who looks 8 but is 18.

Ahhh sheet. This is like where’s Waldo and the riddle of the sphinx.
Imagine there was a race of women an entire tier above white women in beauty. They are as beautiful to you as black women are ugly. This is the daily struggle of the black man.

Hey, I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Using a new account since my main one for KF I'd prefer to keep WELL away from his work but. Well, On Sunday my dad @Gehenna passed away. He had been having heart issues for a while and he took a bad turn over the weekend. he had, rather playfully, mentioned the "Nutters and secret geniuses" in the thread and had fondly mentioned a few of you guys by username. So I thought to tell you all who held a special place in his jaded heart.

Beyond all that, if you were around at the time, the hype for BS Infinite was off the charts. It was an endless parade of puff pieces like "The Citizen Kane of Video Games", "Video Games Are Finally Art", and "The Deep, Resonant Message of Bioshock Infinite". It was massively hyped up to be The Thing, and for a while, dominated game journalism.

What's telling is that nobody remembers it anymore. People bringing it up ITT just reminded me of it, but before that, I hadn't thought of the game in several years. It has no lasting fanbase, not even anyone still bringing it up as some profound thing. It is probably the peak of the Soy Era, because all the soybeard guys were all over it.
Bioshock Infinite has had ONE lasting effect over the years. People were so thirsty for the girl in it that it advanced cartoon porn technology by decades.

I don't get the democrats' thought process in choosing a ratchet ghetto negress as their new face.

They must have data backing their decision to do this, so they must believe that she can bring in votes. I wonder if their data has been poisoned by Reddit?

Is there a worse combination of characteristics than loud, ghetto, mean, dumb while simultaneously over confident, black and woman for general likability? I thought this was common sense. Bizarre decision...

There are unanswered questions.

You'd think they'd have learned pushing Harris, she's not really ghetto but she was all the rest of those. But dems never learn. And RIP @Gehenna if that's true, he was a great poster for sure.

The Democrats being so desperate for a win that they are willing to clutch onto the signal chat story even though it disclosed no classified information and it was published after the strikes were carried out is so tiring. They're mad that a journalist was added to a signal chat group but not asking the actual questions of how they got added or why did they leave the chat early before anything important was disclosed.

The journalist was in the group just long enough to grab a few screenshots as proof before dipping out. So he grabbed proof he was there but Left before anything sensitive or juicy was shared which means he's not in violation of any law or sharing state secrets. This doesn't sound like incompetence on the admin's part or failure to follow procedures, this reeks of some rouge staffer setting this up so it could be a manufactured story that doesn't risk the publisher of getting in trouble or running a foul of the government. I've been around long enough to know gay ops when I see them. It's all so tiresome.
*rogue, unless the journalist was wearing heavy cheek makeup.

Gabbard: Iran is not currently developing nuclear weapons—JewishInsider.com

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said Tuesday that the intelligence community maintains its assessment from prior years that Iran is not currently actively pursuing a nuclear weapon, but that open discussion of nuclearization has increased inside the regime.

“The IC continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme Leader Khamanei has not authorized the nuclear weapons program he suspended in 2003,” Gabbard said in her opening remarks at a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing.

But, Gabbard added, “In the past year, we have seen an erosion of a decades-long taboo in Iran on discussing nuclear weapons in public, likely emboldening nuclear weapons advocates within Iran’s decision-making apparatus. Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile is at its highest levels and is unprecedented for a state without nuclear weapons.”

Gabbard also said that the full impacts of renewed sanctions on Iran are not yet in effect, but that the “message … is certainly heard.”

The intelligence community’s annual threat assessment, released in conjunction with the hearing, predicts that Iran will continue efforts to threaten U.S. citizens globally and develop networks and conduct operations inside the United States.

It also describes Iran’s military capabilities and proxy armies as an ongoing threat to the U.S. and its allies, despite Israeli successes in degrading those capabilities.

“The IC assesses Iran’s prospects for reconstituting force losses and posing a credible deterrent, particularly to Israeli actions, are dim in the near-term,” the report continues.

The report suggests that Iranian political and economic struggles could be fodder for renewed domestic political unrest and protest inside Iran, unless Iran is granted sanctions relief.

The intelligence community also assessed that Hamas is a continued threat to Israeli security and is “capable of resuming a low-level guerilla resistance and to remain the dominant political action in Gaza for the foreseeable future.” It notes that Hamas’ popularity in Gaza has decreased but it remains popular in the West Bank.

The report warns that resumed conflict between Israel and Hezbollah would “threaten Lebanon’s fragile stability” and could prompt a range of negative outcomes inside Lebanon.

It also states that Syria could again devolve into violence, and that even if the new government is able to form a durable coalition across the various ethnic and sectarian groups, “governing Syria will remain a daunting challenge amid the country’s economic problems, humanitarian needs driven in part by millions of internally displaced Syrians, rampant insecurity, as well as ethnic, sectarian, and religious cleavages.”

Protesters affiliated with the far-left group Code Pink disrupted the hearing to advocate against U.S. support for Israel. Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), the committee chair, citing reports of Chinese funding to the group, said that its activism against Israel reflects the coordination among U.S. adversaries.

In a series of heated exchanges, Democratic lawmakers repeatedly pressed the intelligence community leaders about the recent revelation that U.S. officials had discussed plans for U.S. strikes on the Houthis in Yemen on a commercial messaging app in a group chat that inadvertently included a reporter.

Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe, who were members of the chat, provided a series of largely evasive and sometimes inconsistent responses on the situation. They at points denied that classified information had been shared in the chat, while at other times said they did not recall details of what had been discussed and suggested that only Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth could say whether the information involved had been classified.

Multiple Republican senators indicated they also had concerns about the revelations, but planned to question the officials about them in a subsequent classified session.

The threat assessment report released Tuesday did not include a section on the threats from transnational racially and ethnically motivated violent extremists — a category that includes violent white supremacists — which intelligence officials in the previous administration had characterized as a major threat.

He was a quality poster and will be missed. Wishing you and your family all the best.

This is his computer, I signed out of his account before making this one. He had his browser set to automatically bring KF up when turned on. When I saw that, I thought to well... tell you guys. Doing it from his account felt wrong.
I suspected this might be the case. But, the Internet being what it is, other suspicions were also piqued. I hope @Gehenna would have understood. I'd wager he would have.

He was a good poster, and seemed to be a pretty decent dude. My sympathies to you and the family.

Any thread jannies wanna do an IP check or something to verify?

@FreedFenrir if true, RIP to your dad, he was a very informative poster and good to chat with, and even when his political analysis was wrong he took it in good sport, and never really bothered negrating. I hope it was mildly confusing if he ever told you about how George Lucas was actually a prominent shitposter, and we will miss the election shenanigan discussion.

He did allude a few times to one day faking his death and GTFOing the country though so Gehenna if this is you good job man enjoy costa rica.
