"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

I hope Henry has a buddy, guinea pigs being super social animals and all.

Oh he does, and he can see and interact with his neighbors ❤️

Some Japan related news, since we all know how much Null loves anime. The Akita Publishing Company headquarters, known for publishing works such as Baki the Grappler, Black Jack, Saint Seiya, and Space Battleship Yamato, is currently on fire.

EDIT: Update, apparently the building was in the process of being renovated, so injuries were remarkably low. 2 construction workers hospitalized, and I'm assuming there wasn't much irreplaceable material there.

Ralph watches Dragonball Z and goes Super Ape 3 and screams for 2-3 minutes until he's completely red in the face.
"Fuck all you motherfuckers, we're going to burn this whole fucking planet because it's worthless, that's why! Fuck you fuck you Burn in hell, die in hell, all you motherfuckers"

Done on a mobile phone so excuse the limitations but I think it turned out well.

I kept the original voices in as Ralph would typically scream over everyone talking anyway. (Plus doing it on phone)

At the very least include Ralph screaming at Dragonball Z in MATI, it's gotten a decent amount of engagement. Plus it's funny and I'm sure the audience will enjoy it.

Lol. Having a specific grudge against clannad for the dango song being emotionally manipulative is genuinely funny to me. It's such a weird thing to be angry about. Although I will admit the specific pastel colors "moe" style of Kyoto animation sucks and it appeals to the weirdest and most obnoxious weeaboos.

There's only a handful of anime I can tolerate much less like but the handful I have enjoyed are all very human looking or stylized. I hate that moeblob shit or the generic horny garbage. I have the same attitude towards anime that I do to rap, it's 99.99% fucking garbage meant for subhumans but that .001 percent can be some real good shit.

Also speaking of anime I hope that the clip of Ralph screaming to the Dragonball z clip will be in the next MATI. Instant pig classic.

Finally finished last week's episode. Josh's hysterical breakdown laughing during the reddit genshin impact story made it really hard to keep a straight face in the grocery store. One of the best shows as of late. It was nice to be laughing hard at something instead of feeling disgusted. It is my hope every show has something you can't help but to laugh so hard you're crying at.

isn't this the second time a big studio was set on fire
Kyoto Animation ("KyoAni") is a pretty legendary studio that does a lot of legendary projects. Some train autist schitzo thought they stole his generic anime idea so he poured a shitload of gasoline on the ground floor one day when the building was open for some sort of contractor work and lit it up.

Problem being:
1. They had locked the escape passage to the roof because they were tired of people taking smoke breaks up there
2. They had either locked or installed improper safety windows (and no fire escapes) so the only way out was up (locked) or down (inferno)
3. The stairwells were not pressurized or negative pressurized or whatever fire code requires, so they immediately filled with thick black (deadly) smoke
4. Their building had a huge wooden spiral staircase in the middle going all the way up... also known as "a bonfire" if it's set on fire
5. Their building had a massive amount of paper material stored throughout it, old archives of animation projects, aka "kindling." (I believe this might have meant they had intentionally disabled their sprinklers, too.)

The result being the building went up in minutes, and all the people in the building made it into a corner where they couldn't get a window open to escape, or as far as the stairwell where they died pounding against the locked emergency exit to the roof. Exactly 0 fire code changes were made in response, as it's Japan and they aren't going to make corporations pay to change shit. A lot of veteran animators and an entire team of new animators (IIRC they were training or something that day?) were lost.

I think it was so bad they agreed to put him to death? Or were seeking the death penalty, but I'm not sure.

what a loss for all mankind
Just stick with Dragon Ball/Z or childhood cartoons that happened to be anime if you want a nostalgia trip and ignore all other anime not shown on a cartoon block during your childhood. Clannad seems gay as fuck along with most anime not shown during the childhood block of shows in late 90's/Early 00's. Ignore the weebs trying to convert you, no anime is worth it.

Edit: And so I don't get nuked from the thread for being grossly off topic, I hope that people stop asking Jersh to watch anime. It's cyclical. Jersh says he'll never watch anime and people would have to pay him obscene amounts of money to watch even a little bit. Then instead of just going "oh well, he doesn't like my hobby", THEY KEEP ASKING.
The same used to happen to me a lot. Thankfully my anime loving friends and acquaintances finally figured out that, when I say "I don't like anime." I'm not asking to be bombarded with suggestions.

Dragonball is a bad as any other anime. Typical perverted and puerile Japanese humor. Molesty old men played for laughs, underage characters constantly put in sexually compromised situations.

DBZ is better, but not by much. And it's pretty unwatchable after Cell.
