They're shipping units to America already, they'd never do that for a Christmas launch as storing items costs money. Its a summer launch, no doubt about it.

Rumours are S2 is launching in 3 phases; 1st party exclusives, 3rd party exclusives, everything else.
If the rumours are true it means Nintendo are going different software, rather than hardware, launch packages.

Either way, they'll want stock clearing by June and gone by Christmas 2025.

Details are fuzzy and the rumour just mentions the three-phase 'launch' as a way to get dev kits to 1st parties first, then roll the rest out. It's an interesting, if not strange, rumour and idea if true.

Maybe we see cross-platform 1st party games for S1+S2, then the rest phase out the S1 for the S2.

There's also a rumour that a non-Nintendo game will be announced for the Switch that will 'start a conversation'. Though this could be someone guessing due to how vague it is. I guess we will know in a few hours.

"Start a conversation" is mostly a leftist term that is used to make a specific topic the main and only focus of their point. You hear this all the time with feminists whenever some dumb bitch lies about being raped, the banshees immediately go into defense mode and spew out "start a conversation" regarding how rape is wrong and you shouldn't do it even though everyone and their fucking grandparents already know this. By doing this, they basically brush away the fact that the woman lied about being raped and pretend it never happened.

There's a Netflix series called "13 Reasons Why" that at the beginning of each episode they had this long drawn-out speech about "starting a conversation" because the topics they were tackling (VERY poorly might I add) were in relation to things high school teenagers would likely come across in their lives. Incidentally, suicide rates went up after the series aired. I'm sure it's just a coincidence though [/sarcasm]
