Here is the secret: You, me, them, none of us were ever forced to comply. It's just that we, in the western world, for whatever reason decided that hurting somebody's feelings was the worst thing EVER and has to be avoided, even if the consequences of avoiding a minor upset to a stranger are the complete downfall of our civilization.
Now things have progressively become more shitty, and true, saying "no" to tranny faggots can have consequences sometimes. But I promise you, they're often less bad than you imagine them to be. You would be surprised how often a single person speaking up can cascade into the whole group suddenly voicing their true opinions on current year insanity.

Full comment chains being deleted is nothing new, I'm pretty sure it's been a meme since even before reddit was political that you would google a question and click the reddit link only to see a bunch of deleted comments instead of an answer. And do they not remember the "protest" people did of deleting all of their comments so it couldn't be used to train AI?

Let the jannies do it lmao. It always gets a chuckle out of me seeing the little notice on posts that indicate a mod edited it to turn the image into a thumbnail. It would be trivial to implement this in the board software, but it speaks to dear feeder's oppositional defiance disorder that he'd rather impotently rage about this twenty times a day and even make angry announcements, when he could've also just easily enforced this software side.

I despise the enshittification of the iNTERNET caused by what I can only assume is caused by redditors.
When I have a specific problem (especially a technical computer one) I will search the web for it. Nowadays one of the first results is reddit, and the op will have the exact same problem. Cool, this should be an easy fix, it was solved years ago. I then have to wade through multiple comments of people saying they have the same problem, only for the op to come back and say "nevermind I fixed it" and never share their solution.

Not to mention you have random retards who aren't even having that problem chiming in with their stupid suggestions.
