It's not just the GOP voters, people just don't show up to non-major elections. Cincinnati, a city of just under a million people, had roughly 50,000 votes in the last mayoral election. 34,000ish people put a half-nepalese/half-streetshitter tard into the mayoral office. I voted for the other guy, a 80 year old former city council member, but the only guy who'd answer a question. City politics have always been retarded though. It is part of the reason the progressives win though, no one is getting the normies out to vote, so only the motivated show up.

Maybe your state has looser documentation requirements than the Real ID standard. It's possible you could walk back up with your new valid ID and they would accept that.
You don't need proof of residency to renew a license usually.

We need to remember that we’re not anywhere close to settling this case yet. All these motions and appeals have solely been about the TRO. Boasberg hasn’t even heard let alone ruled on the actual case yet. The Court of Appeals only upheld the TRO, and if SCOTUS takes on appeal it will be about the TRO.
