No, the PC is fine, but the it has a known defective/malfunctioning CPU. In layman's terms the CPU literally starts to burn once it hits a certain temperature or voltage, which puts a strict upper limit on its lifespan.I missed out on DSP lore. Kind of. The update is just a mitigation; it's a hardware defect so there's no true "fix" for it. Like I said in the GP, Phil's CPU settings would just override the fixes entirely and it would've been pointless. He's fucked in the long term.It took them a few updates for them to apparently correct the issue; but every device that was sent out obviously didn't have the patch applied; and most system integrators (people who sell pre-mades) often just let devices sit in warehouses and then ship them out.
