Nintendo Switch (Currently Plagued) - Here we shit post about the new Nintendo console, The Switch

That collection sounded pretty damn good to be honest (hell yeah Life Force and Salamander.) But why no Nemesis?
You'll have to be specific since there's like a million Gradius games called Nemesis and one of them (a certain release of the first game) is included.

I assume you mean either the Gameboy stuff or one of the PC games?

My biggest disappointment is it didn't include IV, V, or Gaiden, even though IV and Gaiden were on the PSP Gradius Collection and V is hard to acquire now.

The MSX ones. I can understand why they didn't do the late 90s/2000s ones.

The game card thing is pretty neat. I still prefer Brian Fargos proposal of using a blockchain type system for licenses so you can sell or lend digital games. He also proposed if I remember right a small percentage of each "used" digital game sale going back to the developer which he thought would disincentivize overly bloated games to pad out play time and stupid DLC. But I can get why devs and publishers wouldn't want such a thing.

I feel like there's a lot of risk to that, decipher the chain or find some sort of exploit and not only can you have games for free, PSN outage-style, but actively take and sell other people's game libraries? No thanks...

Oh God someone just pointed out that all the buildings in pokemon ZA are just flat rectangles tiled with window pngs and now I can't unsee it. Here's some beautiful painted-on balconies for you.

It's an arcade collection, which is why they don't have the console ports. Doesn't explain why Scramble or 4 wasn't included, but as long as Salamander 3 doesn't suck people probably won't complain much.

Oh yeah, without a doubt. But someone has to do it, so unless they start outsourcing their localization, Treehouse is the only option.
I don't think they'll do that...at least not to a decent translation group who cares about the original product, because trust me, things would be even worse if it weren't done in-house as is. The Thousand Year Door remaster, for example, is lucky enough to not be super preachy.

"We apologize for disappointing many people by failing to include same-sex relationships in Tomodachi Life," Nintendo said following controversy regarding homosexuality in its life sim. "Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to change this game’s design, and such a significant development change can’t be accomplished with a post-ship patch. At Nintendo, dedication has always meant going beyond the games to promote a sense of community, and to share a spirit of fun and joy. We are committed to advancing our longtime company values of fun and entertainment for everyone. We pledge that if we create a next installment in the Tomodachi series, we will strive to design a game-play experience from the ground up that is more inclusive, and better represents all players.”
Looks like the monkey's paw granted your wish, tendies. Enjoy your gay cuckold demake that's been shat up with DEI and faggot pandering. They should call it "Trannyfaggot Life"

Looks like Nintendo revealed some stuff about Nintendo Switch 2 Edition releases of OG Switch games existing:

I hope you're ready to rebuy all your Switch games for the privilege of being able to use the full power of the Switch 2 while playing them. That'll be $69.99 plus mandatory NSO fees plus tip. No refunds.
