I love the "nobody cares" vibe of her like/reply count on bluesky. She has 10k followers on there but it's only ever her art that gets traction rather than her text posts. So when she would bitch about how people only follow her mainly for the rants instead of the art, I was confused since I feel like it's the other way around. On tumblr it's always been the norm. There were quite a few popular bloggers on there that exude that kind of cooly dismissive "ugh white people" energy Pup wants to radiate, but unlike them she lacks the ability to not lose her marbles. Methinks it's the inner bully personality lashing out as usual.

What's her beef with Autodesk Sketchbook? It's a very solid art program on both desktop and mobile, granted you have to pay for the desktop version but it isn't half as expensive as Photoshop or Clip Studio Paint + it's a one time purchase. (< forgot this detail, sorry)

Overall it all boils down to preference with how every art program is standardized nowadays so you're getting all the basics you need. I'm definitely biased because I started digital art years ago on Autodesk mobile so I heartily recommend it, especially because it's 100% free. The UI is simple and doesn't get in the way so it's perfect for small phone screens. I definitely recommend Medibang for tablet users though since it has more tools than Sketchbook but I found that the UI is a bit too cluttered for a small screen. Experimenting with different programs is always a good thing so you can find what works best for you!

You can't say it's all about the skill and practice and then shit on a tool in the same breath, if you have skill it doesn't matter what you use. Here's some Japanese dude that draws amazing art in Excel.

She has some art skills, especially when you look back at her art when she was 13-14. They show a lot more effort and passion than whatever she's producing now. It's just that she's too lazy to improve her skills. Autumn reminds me of this one artist I saw online once, where they said they have the talent and skills to copy most art styles and draw it decently, but not enough to pursue anything else besides copying and drawing basic concepts from other artists they've seen online or they struggle to come up with their own ideas/stories. I'm guessing Autumn has the same problem, considering whenever she makes a new batch of ocs, she throws them away in less than a few days and goes back to drawing old ocs from her twitter days. I'm surprised she's stuck around with Hitch and Hitomi for a while now, but I think it's probably because she self inserts herself and Wis onto them. I'm also guessing once Wis and Autumn break up, she'll either sell them to someone, completely scrap them, or totally "redesign" and reboot the characters.
