You know I just had a thought about this story. My 15 year old car with a fairly simple electronic system tells me when its time for an oil change. And I am pretty sure that just goes off of milage. So how the fuck does his fancy ass beamer not have that?

I hadn't bothered watching a Phil stream in like, six months, maybe? I watched 80%+ of this one, they had decent chemistry and this was an easy 6/10 compared to the now unwatchable, outside of clips, game play streams. Phil should do this with Ethan again, and be sure to make him use a condom when they finally do have sex with one another so he doesn't pass something to fat Khet when they fu-ACK-ACK-ACK.

You know I just had a thought about this story. My 15 year old car with a fairly simple electronic system tells me when its time for an oil change. And I am pretty sure that just goes off of milage. So how the fuck does his fancy ass beamer not have that?

You don’t even need a fairly modern electronic system, it’s just common sense to change your vehicle’s oil every 3k miles or so, and check it regularly every 1k.

The only reason he hasn’t had any major engine issues thus far is that the car’s barely used.

Phil did his best to make the show as boring as possible refusing to read off joke donations mocking Ralph despite him saying he was totally fine with it. He is an anti-entertainer. He has zero clue how to keep peoples attention.

Sometimes I forget that he does deliberately make his shows as boring as possible, purely to spite da detractors. It's kind of amazing how much energy he must put into it vs just running with a few of the jokes.
Perhaps that's what makes it so entertaining, knowing that everything is a clusterfuck but DSP puts on a salesman's pitch every fucking time or just tries to ignore the several giant elephants in his room (and whatever the rest of the wild animals are)

Now that I got to digest everything, I think there was only one big takeaway from last night’s show (aside from being painfully boring).

Ralph was the first ever “guest” to WANT to be on Phil’s stream, and was outwardly sucking his dick about how much money he would bring in for Phil. I could see something in Phil awaken in light of this, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Phil gets addicted to losers wanting to be on his stream now even if it doesn’t result in money. Maybe expect to see more losers/paypigs get

I don't think the video game schtick is really about the money. He knows that his whales will give him money regardless of what he does. The main reason he clings to it is because he is extremely concerned with what his detractors think. It just serves to let him cling to his "I've been a successful video game streamer for 15 years" narrative. In his mind, quitting gaming streams entirely would be a win for "da trolls" and we've seen just how far he will go (like sheltering a pedophile) to prevent that.

To a lesser degree, I think he tries to use his "diversity" of games to rope in the occasional new viewer/potential whale by chasing hype of new games. He is exactly what he criticizes other streamers for doing. By playing tons of games for as short of a time as possible he hopes to catch someone looking for a streamer playing that specific game. It's an idiotic plan because 99.9% of people interested in a specific game will watch him for a total of 10 seconds before being disgusted by him, the way he plays games, and the way he runs his stream, but all he needs is 1 more whale to shore up his sinking ship for more gin and WWE money.

I'm pretty torn on this myself. On the one hand, I very much agree with Phil being uncomfortable, but on the other hand...money. And to a lesser extent, ego. Both in the sense of Ralph talking up Phil, but also in Phil getting a "win" over KC by basically pulling a repeat of his wedding night. Instead of gloating about his wife, he can gloat about his new friend and how well Snark Guys is doing without PPP because Phil was always the talent. I might even swap ego and money around now that I think about it, we know how important winning is to Phil. This might be less of a wedding night situation and more of a Derich situation, where Phil stubbornly refuses to let go of Ralph just so he can get back at his ex-boyfriend who broke his heart.

But much like with KC, I think a breakup is inevitable, and I sincerely doubt Ralph will be able to drag things out as long as KC did. Ralph is a ticking timebomb, it's only a matter of time before he has a huge outburst that Phil can't contain. Plus, if he starts asking for money (assuming it's accurate he wasn't paid for this appearance) that's bound to cause some friction as well.
