I think we can both agree that there is a much bigger group of people that would prefer an actual Female MC route added in persona 4, and actually change shit with the story to fit this choice, than just making existing characters gay, in a game where identity is a major theme. That's really my only issue with this whole discussion.

Rage? sure, it's ok, still better than BL2, not just because BL2 is shit, but looter shooters in general are at a 5/10 at default.
Borderlands is the one game where "it's fun with friends" Doesn't apply.

Boarderland 2 is just shit, the gameplay shooting has no impact and every characters are annoying as fuck, talks like fucking Marvel Movie Characters. It's among one of those top overrated games.

Idk, it's like we're talking about entirely different games. Either you guys played it on a very surface level involvement or I'm the one being too autistic about it. For starters, it is not just "endless guns" or "shooting" whatever. My own favorite way to play the game is to play it as semi melee Zer0 or melee Krieg on OP levels.

I don't wanna sound like I am defending this game in any capacity, especially after the shitshow with BL3 and tons of other reasons to hate gearbox for. But again, in terms of the gameplay, there are so many different ways you can play it that I am not even sure it was intended that way by the devs. I think it's the community of autists and nerds who keep digging the game to find out new weird ways to play it.

Let's see: it's more like a JRPG in terms that no where nears as much freedom in the player choices like Fallout NV. Not saying it can't be done right, but the overall story isn't that great in it self. The whole game is just drag out long chasing to where ciri is and then help her in her quest. Jumping into witcher 3 blind, I never felt any real connection with Ciri, she isn't like a bitch character, but I often feels like the player aren't very involved we are more dragged along the ride.

The dlc has much better pacing and focus. Heart and Stone is the best story one imo. The writing team seems better at writting a medium length main story rather than this grand journey like Lord of the Ring.

And yes, gameplay is mid. Better than skyrim, but not good enough. If there's more enemies varieties and better core combat like Dark Souls or Ninja Gaiden, It would have been much better game.

Valid criticism, can't argue. I think it's just a matter of what either of us can or cannot overlook. For me it's a flawed but great game.

Regarding the gameplay, there is a superior way to play the game, in case you'd be interested. With the NG++ mod you can replay the game with end game gear and max stats and enemy scaling. It gives you variety of gameplay options while still keeping the game challenging. But yes, the main game gameplay is a bit rough.

When you reach the "endgame" most of the gimmick builds fall apart and most characters are stuck with only a couple of viable ways to play.

He mentioned Micah a few times in the parts of the stream I watched, but the main thing starts 7 minutes in.
