the moron probably won't get charged for it, but apparently foreigners participating in protests is illegal there.
I'm not so sure about them not charging. due to discretion of judges, cops, ect, theres a lot they CAN charge potentially, but don't. And most things like those laws you get a slap on the wrist and told to STFU, because they want to correct your actions, not ruin you with charges. But if you are a MASSIVE pain in the ass, every single thing they CAN technically get you on, they will.
And I'm sure johnny has done just that, the courts know if hes given an inch, he will take a mile, he has no respect for them, and has been fucking up more and more despite cops I'M SURE telling him to calm the fuck down. And because hes made it so clear, I think they won't give him the "benefit of the doubt" on the protest charge. He's been a dickhead every step of the way, and so I bet the course would LEGALLY be a dick back.
Beyond that, he said korea was working with CCP, and theres laws against defaming the govt ALSO, so its an issue that they could prosecute for foreign protesting, OR defamation, OR BOTH!!!
And technically they have laws against defamation even if its "true" if its "not in public interest". Now I don't believe korea is working with CCP, at all, especially given north korea scenario, but this basically means that no matter HOW you spin it johnnys kinda fucked. Johnny somehow MIRACULOUSLY right, and CCP working with korea to some capacity? it could be argued its less in public interest than jailing him, and charged for that. its proven false? charged even harder, for false defamation.
Also, WITH the protesting law, looking into it, its REALLY weirdly expained, seemingly there's no punishment besides revoking visa and deporting which is....counter intuitive to johnnys situation, and its legally not well tested? This said johnny would be the FUNNIEST example of a """protester""" to try this on, and you'd need to figure out what to do about it. Cant revoke his already revoked visa, can't deport him WHILE trying to charge him. I might be misunderstanding it, idk, its legalese is thick even for me, and this article mentioned its untested.
Really shooting him in the face would just be way less paperwork.
