Forgetting that she's also a descendant of Anglo-Saxons so if anything a good lot of her ancestors were the ones doing the conquering, and as for the Nordic part - she probably just assumes the evil Christians were marching into Scandinavia and forcing the pagans to say they love Jesus at sword-point and slitting their throats if they refused when that's not entirely true - many willingly converted, others just went "yeah sure I'll follow this new religion of yours" but continued to make statues of Thor while simply calling them Christ and secretly carved runes praising the old gods on the back of crosses. It was mostly done for the sake of trade with the rest of Europe, and religion was the easiest way back then to create that common ground. Meanwhile in Iceland, while Christianity was adopted as the official religion mostly to maintain that connection with the mainland, part of that decision included allowing people to worship whatever gods they pleased in the privacy of their own homes, so... in typical Staph fashion, that's a critical research failure, the vast majority of her ancestors weren't "oppressed" or "conquered" and were in fact the conquerors themselves (assuming they weren't just peasants living off the land, which is quite likely, though we know she likes to romanticise whatever cultures she claims descent from) and she's simply making shit up to sound like some magickal champion of social justice. Is it too much to hope for equally crazy black TikTokers to flood her comments like "honey, you're WHITE, if you gonna diss Trump then talking about your ancestors ain't it".
Even in more recent terms, I can't imagine there being much historical discrimination against Scandis in the US save for mockery of their accents/broken English (the Swedish Chef Muppet for example) and she has like... one Irish great-great grandma and doesn't acknowledge her Croatian side at all (therefore hasn't said a thing about the Serbs), so to say her blood relatives were oppressed/discriminated against in any way is a huge stretch.
