tl;dr Czar has been the new lead dev of TFR after the previous one resigned some months ago. Dude attempted a gayop and maneuvered his friends into development positions, tried to basically consolidate power and do as he pleases. It backfired greatly, now the entire team has resigned.

lmao so developer drama, got it. Same shit with Panzer and the troon order and the other 99 mods that never get released because the 5 guys behind them are either too retarded, too lazy or already joined the 41%. Thank God I stopped getting involved in these tranny servers years ago.

So some guy in the thread is generating Loji goonbait (her in a bikini), would be funny if it's a ploy by Czar and co. to derail the thread and drown out any actual discussion.

Well, first off all. The mod is absolute dogshit, there is very little quality stuff being put in there and seriously outdated, they haven't put any effort in some of the countries that formed part in the Entente. Case in point, the Russian Empire has a fucking awful focus tree, like 80% of the military part of the tree is just research bonuses that to make things worse, the majority are just 70 day focuses, which makes the experience of playing as them very slow and boring.

And you know the worst thing about it?, it was done on purpose, because the original focus tree got reworked almost entirely to "avoid controversies" regarding the war of Russia-Ukraine, but in reality is because the devs are Reddit-tier libtards who get easily offended and they ban you from their subforum if you criticize them. They don't want people playing as Russia so they purposefully crippled their focus tree stop people from playing them. It's not like the other countries are different though, the Ottoman Empire has a broken rebellion system that it's very difficult to avoid which makes historical gameplay a miserable experience to go through.

This is the logo of their Discord, to give you an idea. Yes, you're seeing it right, they use the tranny flag for a WW1 mod.

And to give you an idea on how Reddit has poisoned their brains, this is their rules, you can imagine how much of a cesspool their Discord is. Pay close attention in the 8th rule.

And the fact that this is like the only playable WW1 mod for HOI4 is depressing, considering how much potential a WW1 game could have.

That's disappointing, I did notice in some playthroughs of the mod that it did seem very glitched and overly railroaded, are there any other WW1 mods for the game?

As an aside, I think I could port over the old Russian focus tree with relative ease and update it depending on how old it is. Considering that around 2022 would be the time BBA (I think? Can't remember) released, it should be easy since I only need to patch in effects for Gotterdammerung, and maybe Arms Against Tyranny, but I don't think it adds any focus tree effects.
This all depends of course on if any other focus trees or events are reliant on the new Russian tree (I.e completed focuses)

If you want to do it, be my guest, at least you could make someone like me happy for try to play a traditional Russian Empire game to try and see how different things could've been.

Really the only positive that this mod has is their Balkan nations, Greece and Bulgaria have very great mission trees and formables. If you see it in a way, they're exactly like Paradox, they focus so much on many minor nations that had little to do with the actual Great War (The Balkan war talk could be debatable on how much influenced the sparking of the Great War, but that's another topic.) and their actual Great Powers are seriously outdated or intentionally mismanaged.

I could see this mod being one of the best if it was done by an entirely different mod team, which preferably has no trannies in it.
