Is Super Meat Boy Forever supposed to suck balls?

This was on my backlog because I love the original super meat boy, but then i started playing it and its a one button runner and its absolute ass. I like all of Edmund's other games so I have to wonder if making it shitty was a design decision, maybe its a commentary on how booty most mobile games are, idk what do you think?

At 7 I couldn't beat Sonic, and that's a lot less complicated. I guess it's more platforming intensive and punishing though.

I never had sonic 1. But I beat sonic 2 around the same age. It took me so many tries getting to the end and trying to get through robo sonic and robotnik with no rings but one day I did it and it was pretty awesome. I never got all the chaos emeralds in that one though.

I got to wet my teeth on fun shit like ninja Gaiden 2 and ghosts and goblins or that fucking tmnt game. I've never gotten past the third level in that one. The one with the steamrollers right after the dam level.

I ended up getting all the chaos emeralds and super chaos emeralds when I played sonic 3 and knuckles on the GameCube sonic collection years later but that's the only one. I was never very good at sonic 1 and 2's minigame but for some reason I found the sphere one in sonic 3 to be not too bad.

Sonic 1's water level is worse than the one in sonic 2. I ended up drowning more in the chemical plant because of that one spot where you're basically fucked if you fall and have to try and climb up moving yellow block tower thing while it's under the pink water. Yeah fuck Sonic's drowning theme though that shit's stressful.
