from WSJ, Biden used USAID to attempt to overthrow Netanyahu

The reform should never have become a U.S. issue, but President Biden intervened. House committees are now investigating whether six groups received U.S. funding for the purpose of undermining the Netanyahu government. USAID and the State Department transferred at least $4.8 million directly to Israeli groups working to bring down the government, and tens of millions more to foundations that fund them.

I wish the right would stop defunding places of power and just use them. Instead of pushing ani-American values, fire everyone and make a good sesame street instead.
@Ghostse
Do we still use micro-film? I know it lasts a long time and is at least smaller than paper.
@Dumbledore's Onlyfans gave a great breakdown of the problems of microfilm and why it stopped seeing use here.

Shouldn't have shipped off manufacturing to Mexico the past couple of decades which also answers your gripe about our cars being ass these days.
What's funny about that, is that for at least a time, the parts and assemblies coming out of the Mexican factories were higher quality. Lore among some of the Chrysler performance car communities is to look for the block or head castings with marks that show they came out of the Mexican foundries because the casting quality is higher, and an engine built with those castings can make more power before it explodes.

Greenland won't be joining anytime soon considering that the ruling government has formed a coalition with a number of other parties to stand against Trump. The Danish PM is also visiting it in response to Vance coming there a couple days ago. It's important to point out that a hard-line independence party which came second in the recent election is not part of the coalition.
I am curious about Trump wanting greenland. What resource do they even have?

So what's going on with the Iran situation? Don't see much discussion of it in the thread. Uncle Sam gonna head back into the desert?

EDIT: Or, alternatively, another Operation Praying Mantis situation if Iran decides to do something stupid.

This is tangent to the thread, but tommorrow Carney ( the unelected governor of canada) is suspending the carbon tax on canadians (something he literally stole from the cons, like all his good ''ideas'' )

That should cause around 1$ less a gallon for gas in canadian fun bucks. EXCEPT for quebec, who in some truly mongoloid manner decided to join fucking CALIFORNIA to have their own carbon ETS ( Emission trading scheme, a tax for pruducing X quantity of co2). So, from tommorrow onward Quebec will pay a full buck extra per gallon. Obviously, quebec gonna drop it because it's political suicide, and leave california hanging there alone and unloved.
Carney is not killing the carbon tax, he is one of its biggest boosters.

He is moving it upstream, which will raise consumer prices on EVERYTHING. HE is a WEF shill who believes in the net zero bullshit.

Sunday saw more threats directed at Iran by President Trump. He told NBC News in a phone interview, "If they don’t make a deal, there will be bombing. It will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before." This is the most explicit and direct threat yet, after similar rhetoric from the White House last week. Three weeks ago President Trump sent a letter to Iran's Supreme Leader, urging fresh negotiations toward a new nuclear deal.

Helps that he's dead too so I can never meet my metaphorical hero and be sorely disappointed.
G. Gordon Liddy used to talk about how, when he was new but getting popular enough to get pulled for national syndication, he'd gotten sick and was losing his voice on his show, and then suddenly Rush slipped into the studio, jumped on like he was always supposed to be there, and carried Liddy's show for the two or three hours of his airtime. Rush had been at that broadcast location for a business meeting, heard Liddy struggling over the broadcast in the building, and liked his show enough to basically save it. Rush had his personal demons, but seemed like a pretty stand up guy for his industry.

Lots of oil and rare earth elements, also it's probably related to Golden Dome missile interception stuff. Russia has been expanding its military reach into the Arctic recently and the area has seen a lot more interest as it becomes more accessible due to melting ice.

And this is just a personal theory: in the longer term, Greenland is the kind of resource-heavy place that Russia (or China) could simply seize, and nobody would do anything about it because nobody wants to fight that sort of huge power. However, if America owned Greenland, no one would touch it, because Russia and China don't want to fight America directly. Which is what Trump is hinting at when he says "protection," but nobody pays attention to that because a lot of people are still invested in the LARP that Europe can defend itself.

have you ever seen a globe
It's really easy to forget how Greenland is strategically positioned when you're looking at a standard 2d map. A globe helps, but I think this trade route map really spells it out:
