Something which just hit me,
The judge discussed the whole "Billy calling an Airstrike on his own position" (retarded analogy tbh), this would be better described as the incident was a Barbara Streisand effect Billy created by pointing out what had been said by Karl, this was a defence Karl used and is really fucking retarded for a number of reasons;
1. the BS effect implies the person causing it (Billy) would be significantly bigger than the person who made the claim, we're talking someone who's a celebrity punching down on a regular person type of thing. The problem is both of them are pretty well known in their circles and both have similar audience numbers.
2. Whilst Billy did highlight the video and his video got attention, Karl's videos/claims/lawsuit was being signal boosted by huge youtubers way above Billy, such as MoistCritikal and SomeOrdinaryGamers. Realistically it could be said that most definitely Karl did more harm to Billy by having his story covered by such large, influential figures within the very space (Videogames/Technology) space both him and Billy inhabit.
3. It's kind of a normal thing to do during any form of rebuttal to outline what someone has said, then provide your response. Where as Karl just said "This is what happened and just trust me bro" (tl;dr) Billy was, for once, doing the right thing and showing what he was discussing and providing his input and reaction. Obviously, this was also so anyone watching him (which alot of them would've seen it, given he has a large a-log audience) would understand the full context.
Again, super fucking annoying to see Billy get a W so huge it's actually blinding, this will also force now all those big channels who were pre-claiming W's for Karl to reign their shit in. I noticed people discussing it in Moist's current livestream and he was actively ignoring chat and not commenting so you know they'll be fucking piss scared Billy can sweep more Dubs.
