Wait. That first Facebook update under the spoiler. Richard wants advice on getting a job because his contract ends in June and his father's death makes needing a better job all the more urgent.

I've always wondered how Richard managed to keep a roof over his head while blowing money on Chipotle and vidya while living in Chicago on $18k a year. His hard-working dad bailed him out.

And that's why Richard called TLL. His dad's death has cut off a certain amount of financial support. He really will have to get a proper job now. With the appalling Internet footprint he's got, plus his equally appalling appearance in person, he's got a long row to hoe to get a decent job. No wonder he's suicidal over his dad's death - he really will have to sink or swim now and Richard really hates being in the water.

Of course it matters how old she was. You people call all people migrating here from the global south rapists and drug dealers, the truth is they are all just people like us. Why are we so much better because of the place our parents fucked? The people are rufugees, fleeing extreme poverty and violence. Much of which can be traced back to CIA efforts to prevent meaningful reforms in latin american governments through right wing overthrows of leftist governments and threats of right wing coups, not to mention the war on drugs. And as for those laws, they were motivated entirely by racism and fears of mexicans being a threat to whiteness, a construct created by wealthy plantation owners to stop white people from rebelling.
