Magic The Gathering

Even if they do ban both beans and rage, I'm pretty sure they would introduce a powercrept alternatives in some of the future sets.
Well those can get banned too..but I doubt Rage is gonna get a powercrept version unless we get roles again.

Leaving a perma +1/+1 and Trample for 1 Red at instant speed is likely not to return.

I guess standard players better hope that Final Fantasy finds a way to deal with beans, this town, and red then.

I wanna see Cecil and Monstrous rage together, Sure you will lose like 6 life...but that just means you get the 5/5 lifelink...that will be a 6/6 lifelink trample.

Edit : In Pioneer, you can get him flipped on turn 3, Untapped MDFC, Untapped shock (15) attack, monstrous rage, lose 5, at least 4 will get through from deathtocuch...flop Cecil, have intapped 6/6 lifelink trample on turn 2.

Double edit : Cecils backside is a 4/4,
So it would be a 5/5 trample lifelink

Forget about allat shit you're speaking about, HIGH TIDE IS UNBANNED MY NIGGOS, IT'S TIME TO PLAY PAUPER MILL AGAIN LIKE AN ABSOLUTE MOTHERFUCKING DEGENERATE AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Losing deadly dispite hurts most of my non-meta goofing around decks like Mirkwood Bats Food, but I will happily trade it for mill coming back

I miiiiiiiight be able to swindle a friendly zoomer into trading me literally 2 whole entries to the TDM pre-release for one (1) Archangel of Thune, please lord let it happen it would be so funny.

I feel you deeply, some people nearby are really feeling the broodscale ban since they were all in for broodscale combo, but I think this will only help the meta.

That kid has clearly never heard of TCGPlayer lol. Isn't prerelease like ~$25 - $30? You're basically doubling your money with bonus chances to open a money card, which you could then sell to profit off the ordeal. Hell you could even buy it back once prices settle

Edit : And Mycospawn proves once again that "Search for A non Basic land and put it onto the field" should never be on a card again.
So about that

What lands are they printing for standard because this is a standard card so this makes even more curious about the mythic lands in the space set.
Well the Surveil lands are rotating, which means we can get some cycle of Dual Lands with basic land types and have upside of some sort. (if Wilds of Eldraine rotated with Ixalan I would 100% guess a Cycle of Typed Manlands)

Don't the Surveil lands rotate in 2027? I thought the only ones rotating were the painlands/fastlands this rotation since its Dominaria, Brothers War, All Will be One, and March of the Machine leaving.

Oh Right MKM came out after Caverns.

Well....then I have no fucking clue, We have ManLands, We have Typed Duals...we have the Verges (that work with Typed Duals) We have Mono Color Utility lands in Tarkir.

We will get a Reprint and Completion of...The Bi-cycle lands!

Self discard is now an archetype so that wouldn't actually be that surprising.

I've mentioned it before in this thread but I live in a third world shithole and pre's here tend to hover around the 50+ range, my friends LGS is still kinda new so he's got the screaming deal cheapest pre-release in the city for 41$ per pack. I do hope I hit some money cards though, then I can instantly sell them and go to another pre for the absolute fun of it.

Keep in mind I wasn't trying to like actually scam some poor kid out of money purely out of malice, he just mentioned something about an angel deck and I keep that thang on me (my tradesies binder) so he wanted the card but "couldn't justify it..." then went back another day and spent money on asscreed product kek, either way I sold enough other cardboard to finance my entry, more excited about it than I thought I would be. After checking my collection, this will be my first pre-release in 12ish years.

I wish you all luck on your future pack openings friends :)

I am through part 3 of The Brother's War.

Rereading this has been a fun experience just to see how I misremembered some things, Mishra is a much bigger asshole than I remembered. By the end of part 3 he is a fat fucking dickhead who refused to believe that the Third Path's research was remotely legitimate.

Urza at least considered the idea of Magic before dismissing it because he only heard about it third hand and didn't have the full set of research, if Loran had taken the Third Path's research to Urza he would have been willing to at least try it instead of invading Argoth, also if not for Gix the War would have solved itself because by the end of Part 3..Mishra could barely breathe without hacking up a lung.

Mishra is the Ethan Ralph of Magic the Gathering.

Why do none of these dragons look like dragons? Is that a stylistic choice? The one on the temur deck looks like a polar bear. Does someone own the rights to cool looking dragons?
