I personally thought of a hypothetical game with a concept story I sort of thought and I'll say my ideas in here, keep in mind some of my ideas/concepts will be vague given that it's something that I haven't fully formulated.Really makes me want to see a game where the furries are the bad guys and we see just how horrifying they and there disturbing fetishes are and you are fighting to stop them.
It would definitely be about killing/delaying goo furries or maybe some other type of monster. But for the sake of clarity, I'll just say "monsters" from now on.
The story would begin with a scientist in a lab who somehow finds a cure to a virus devastating as the pale (I'm not sure of how it could work tho), but just as he finishes his investigation, a odd security breach begins to emerge around the lab facility and quickly turns into a monster outbreak and he has to escape with the data of his research in hopes of making more of it after escaping.
This part would begin as some sort of "tutorial" in which the scientist escape the monsters.
He ends up escaping the lab but unfortunately some sort of reason caused the man to leave the city he was in altogether (could be because of the outbreak affecting the whole city or something else).
Then the story straight up goes some years later and it's shown to us that the scientist managed to save many surviving communities thanks to the cure he had been making and eventually settled down in the settlement of one of those many communities.
Unfortunately the past would haunt as he's told by the community's leader that a group of scouts came back to report strange monsters roaming far away inside a abandoned city and threatened to attack the settlement at some point, not only that but one of the scouts had to fend off by his own to allow the other scouts to escape, he was thought to have died but is actually alive and hidden around the city.
The scientist recalled that outbreak which happened many years ago and was willing to discover the root of where those monsters came from to destroy them once and for all and so he
prepares himself and goes with the group of scouts to return to that damned city.
After that, the game would hypothetically shift to the situation of the lone scout who got stuck in the city, hidden in one of the buildings thinking what to do and so he decides that his best bet will be to find a way out of the city, so the game truly begins there by playing with that scout, the game around this point would be some sort of "puzzle" game so to say, maybe it could have stealth? But a characteristic that I thought about this hypothetical game would be that of shooting at the monsters with a gun or something else to slow them down or temporarily stop them to gain time to do actions or other stuff.
At some point that scout would link up with the scientist and the group he was in and then they would go around the dangerous areas of the city to get inside the lab complex.
The infection of the playable characters won't be explicitly shown nor explained through text, you'll only see a brief moment of the character about to be infected by something and the game suddenly pausing with a "game over" or something like that. But perhaps the infection can be seen on non-important characters maybe? Either way, infections will obviously won't be meant to be fetish-like at all.
At some point in the game, the villain would be revealed to be a horrid scientist with plans for world domination or something like that, who happened to be the main person behind what happened during the lab outbreak.
The laboratory which the group of scouts and the scientist would raid would be BELOW the building and not above.
