I’d like to ask how - if there are any kiwis around in the healthcare system - how do these thousands upon thousands of surgeons after all those years of med school and training and taking the Hippocratic oath, perform these surgeries with a clear conscience? Why have there never been any moral quandaries inside the healthcare system about this continuous butchering? Most of us naturally respect surgeons but I feel repulsed at these thousands of surgeons around the world engaging in this mutilation, I don’t see them in the same light as a doctor but more so as a mad scientist from a horror movie.

These transgender surgeries, particularly the genital ones, are the equivalent of a surgeon cutting off a patient’s arm because the patient wants to be disabled. These patients are obviously mentally ill and anyone who has read even a bit of this thread can see that these stinkditches and rot dogs trannys are given are not and will never ever function like or ressemble normal male/female genitalia. Because guess what, human genitalia actually has a purpose of reproduction and all the functions and sensations we feel in those areas stem from that. A roll of arm skin attached to a female can never function as the equivalent of a biological male penis in any metric, the way attaching a pair of cat ears to someone’s head won’t let them hear from the top of their heads, and I’m sure these surgeons have studied enough to know that.

Due to the unnatural mutilating nature of these procedures, more often than not we’re seeing it ruins their lives permanently, both physically, sexually, mentally - definitely not helping their gender dysphoria. So how has this been allowed and does really no doctor have any reservations about this, the way you see loads of gynos refuse to perform and give testimonies about abortions?

It's probably fewer than 500 total. The ones who do it just pump out procedures in high volume. I just looked up one of the tranny resource directories and there are about 125 listed for the whole of the USA who do vaginoplasty, which is one of the more common procedures. Ones who do mastectomy are probably more numerous. But it's still not many in proportion to the total number of practicing physicians in the country.

I think about this a lot and I don’t think there’s one explanation for the entire field. It used to be a lot harder to get this treatment and by the time the person got to the surgeon’s door, they were supposed to be properly vetted by other professionals for years—based on shaky science but considered the standard nonetheless. If you haven’t already, you should read Galileo’s Middle Finger by Alice Dreger, especially the first part of the book as she documents how hard it was to convince doctors that maiming intersex kids with weird-looking genitals was bad, actually. “This is not what the current literature says, this is what I learned in school decades ago, this is how we’ve always done it, I’ve never had anyone come back and complain” etc.

Medicine as a whole has a fucked up history. Am I grateful for modern medicine? A million percent. But man, did a lot of people suffer and die for us to get here. I imagine a lot of the “common sense” techniques we take for granted today sounded fucked up at the time they were introduced. Who was the first person to crack all of someone’s ribs in an attempt to restart that person’s heart? Who was the first person to put maggots on a wound on purpose? Mouldy bread? A lot of medicine was just “Okay, so hear me out…” and sometimes it worked! Cool beans.



Like someone above me said, it takes a special kind of person to cut someone open. And that’s a good quality to have as a surgeon! I wouldn’t want my mechanic crying over my car while trying to fix it. Unfortunately though, that also attracts people who want to play god and come up with the best method and have it named after them. Mostly noble effort if you want to separate conjoined twins or something, not so great for troon surgeries.

How many surgeons were in pre-med 15 years ago thinking “I can’t wait to get in on this non-binary goldmine?” Maybe some AGPs, but I doubt most surgeons started out aiming for this specialty. So, you have some who followed the job market, some who probably think they’re actually helping people or started out that way, and some who get off on castrating people (thanks for that info, WPATH.) It’s easy to excuse if you start to have doubts: this is the new civil rights movement, this is what all of the medical organizations say is proper treatment, someone has to do it, might as well be me. You watch a doctor or two speak out against it and get forced out. You sank some of the best years of your life into this career, you have a family to provide for, you have student loans, you have a mortgage. The surgeons I have the biggest problem with here, are probably the urologists.

The anasthesiologists? They’re just putting the tranny to sleep. Not really responsible in the same way the actual butchers are. What really bothers me is the whole experimental nature of this business. It’s not like there’s a WAY it’s done that they teach in medical schools. Most of them invent their own methods and experiment on the patients along the way.

(Hence the: “I don’t touch another surgeons work!” You sometimes hear with revisions. It’s not some kind of ethical-guild shit, it’s a reflection of: “I don’t know exactly what he did, I might fuck it up even more and don’t know how to fix it!”)

You even had some surgeons experiment with “making” a phallos on the patients stomach and then moving it down later. (Shoutout to Elephant dick!)

It’s this kind of Auschwitz style experimentation that is super fucked: “Hmm… I wonder if I could just reroute the urinary tract the other way instead of that way?! Worth a try!”

Oh their work absolutely sucks ass a lot of the time, but they have a different goal than mastectomies…where they’re taking out all of the breast tissue and maybe some LNs to see if the cancer has spread. I occasionally do pet sitting, and I’ve once had a joy of having a dog who suffered from pp issues in my care. As much as a sweet boy he was, caring for him was the epitome of exhausting. If there’s a part of your body that you absolutely shouldn’t fuck with no matter what, it’s urinary system. Just don’t. I’ve spent a lot of time with medics, including a lot of teaching time and you can see in every Intake that there’s different personality types.

The last lot are the ones who predominantly end up as surgeons. Now psychopathic personality traits (there’s no such simple diagnosis as psychopath) are not always a disadvantage. You need a degree of detachment to be able to deal with surgery and trauma. I personally believe it’s. A trait that’s hard wired in, and how it manifests is how you’re brought up. A broken chaotic upbringing you’ll end up butchering truck stop hookers but an Ivy League education you’re going to be a surgeon, or a CEO.
Most of us have wondered what would happen if….. There are some people who are uninhibited by the usual human ‘that is wrong’. When those people are in a position to actually experiment like that, you get the unit 731s, the mengeles, and the gender butchers.
Imagine: what would happen if we just stopped a child going through puberty at all? Most ethical human reaction is that it’s an interesting philosophical question but would be monstrous to actually DO
The ethical doctor will answer the question if they ever find a patient set who through some freak of biology have the process turned off.
