At the end of the day the people who act like every election is somehow a referendum on Trump are delusional and just want to get more eyeballs on select races that the media wants to set up. The media really are a huge part of this since they can pretty much have elections go one way or the other and have people believe it while they laugh it off, as we saw with the 2020 election coverage, with Fox News being a particularly egregious example.

Both republicans and democrats are plurality parties. The only thing uniting them is their hatred of the other side. They're only strong when they're out of power. I just hope Trump can shift manufacturing back to the country without totally destroying the world economy, and not start a ground invasion. I understand Karenism, men are checking out from society, that's a problem. Most people's reaction to that is to take away the things "distracting them" as opposed to trying to make society a better deal for those men.

Elon spent millions. I think republicans have become a much younger party demographically, so they'll start to suffer much more on special and midterm elections.
