Nintendo Switch (Currently Plagued) - Here we shit post about the new Nintendo console, The Switch

The from soft game seems like an honest to god exclusive. That has me interested but seemed so damn weird as well. Kirby's air ride interests me more than mario and that Donkey Kong looks great even if I'm not keen on how DK himself looks. Already has more aperozing exclusives than PS5 with their not bloodborne as well.

Also, tooooons of ports. Lot of companies just went "fuck it, I can finally shove it in a nintendo console with minimal effort"

So only Mario Kart is a new next gen launch title ? That's it ?
That Bloodborne sequel looks cool but otherwise what a train wreck that reveal was.
Honestly, I think thats all they need. Mario Kart at launch, DK by the 3D Mario team two months later, maybe another big one in November (remember, Odyssey was a launch year title for Switch but not revealed until after launch.)

I'm going for the long shot because I 100% expect kid icarus fans to be disappointed. The game Sakurai has been working on in secret? Not Smash, not a new Kid Icarus, but Kirby's Air Ride 2
Dr. Ricearoni was right again award

Deltarune coming out on all platforms on the same day btw

For the typical Nintendo fanboy, sure. They will buy that shit regardless. But I think it's too little. Only one real launch title to justify a new system. And I would argue DK is at the end of this year at the earliest. I fear another extremely thin first party lineup stretched over too much time.

I think the presentation was fine.
Each time KF laughs and complains at Nintendo, then they sell 93429342993239 copies.
People wanted the Zelda HD more fps for NS2, new games (new mario kart, the new game from FS, the new DK and also the metroid prime 4 will be better on NS2, new Kirby Airide and the Hyrule Warriors).
Also a lot of games from others platforms.
Already better than the PS5 or the dogshit xbox, and later this year they will show the new Mario.
This will sell well.

Lucky you, I still have my Wii U but that fucker couldn’t turn on within a few months of play. When that gets figured out, bitch I am playing Twilight Princess for the first time,
If your Wii U had a hynix nand, that thing might have problems
E: looks like there is a method to use the SD slot instead to load from? https://gbatemp.net/threads/fixing-...-soldering-using-rednand-with-isfshax.642268/ Just thought I should add that info

And yes, Mario Kart Wii/DS is pretty much my cutoff for good Mario Kart, stuck in the past that way
Can't wait to emulate this stuff.
Fingers crossed
I think the biggest difficulty will be waiting for system and game software dumps, since we have fairly well established switch 1 emulation. I imagine comparing the enhanced versions will help a bit with debugging, but I'm no software engineer.

I'm not spending $450 more just for playing Prime 4 in HD

They announced its date at the end of its trailer. It was either late July or August, I forget which.

The Nintendo Switch 2 will feature plenty of other improvements over the original system, such as faster and bigger internal storage, 256 GB over the 32 GB offered by the original Switch

If they have made the internal storage significantly faster than the slow eMMC in Switch 1, then they might be able to justify the MicroSD Express requirement with the reasoning that Switch 2 games won't play properly from a slower card. Although doesn't the Steam Deck handle this fine, also with slow eMMC in its discontinued base model? I don't own either one so IDK.

I think SD Express has been a dud on the market so far, because smartphone manufacturers haven't adopted it and often opted to remove card slots instead. Then on the professional camera side, CFexpress is being adopted. This console could help keep MicroSD alive. The only thing better would be SDUC support (capacities over 2 TB) which currently works with virtually zero devices, although a 4 TB MicroSDUC card has been announced.
