I think the protests die down a bit, but they won't go away. The campaign against Tesla isn't really just political, it is personal. So long as Elon is the head of Tesla, the brand is going to suffer. Hell, as long as Elon is a shareholder, the brand is going to suffer.

I think the only satisfying end for Tesla is for it to go bankrupt before Elon can sell his shares, most of which are still locked up under some sort of contractual agreement.

Tesla sales are down 13% this year and the earnings call is coming up soon, I wouldn't be surprised at all if shareholders would demand him to step down.
But the problem is that tesla stock IS elon musk. All of it's value is in Elon drumming up hype for things that don't exist, it's a meme coin. When you remove Elon, it's just a another EV company and they've been slacking for years on development, letting competitors catch up and overtake them.
