Reasons are
  1. The majority of Mainers are not complete fucking retards
  2. The US military could easy crush both Maine's national guard, and Canada's military
  3. Nobody wants to be part of Canada, not even most Canadians

Supreme court ruled that states do not have the right to unilaterally secede from the union. It would be an act of war.

17 percent isn't even that bad tho, the majority of the countries got either 10 percent or 20+, if anything trump cut em a fuckin break
